GM and draft position

Post#1 » by tvwolves7 » Tue May 19, 2009 9:56 pm

I was thinking today, do you feel that where the Timberwolves land tonight will greatly impact who we potentially get as a GM. As an example does other candidates come out of the woodwork if we get the 1st pick compared to the 7th pick? Or do you see us tomorrow having the same people interested no matter where we land?

My personal take is if we get a top 3 we might see someone out of nowhere show interest, otherwise it most likely be Hoiberg and thats it.

It could. I am not sure it out weighs the ridiculous desires of Taylor involving Mchale, Fred, money and power.

Other than Hinkie and one of the clev guys we are out of prospects.

wrong type.

We do not want a lead GM (*it is what we need, not what we deserve?)
We want a guy that will work on a committee and focus on the fiscal/CBA aspect.
