I am impressed that he sent out that fan letter and appreciate the message. At least he seems to understand that fans are worried as heck and he an awareness to it. I'm still upset that we went with him but let's see how things shape out. Thanks for the link Rev.

Wow that's pretty awesome. But doesn't he know people in charge of MN sports teams aren't supposed to be this transparent/accessible to fans? And this clown is posting an open letter to the fans on a blog? The nerve.

I know he wasn't our first choice and I know he's been bashed pretty good on this board, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Sounds like he's bringing energy and a fresh new voice and that is a good thing. It might come back to haunt me but I'm going to remain optimistic for now.

Don't believe him he's a lawyer. He's trained to make you believe every word he speaks.

He posted that because he's been getting bashed there and everywhere else for the past month. Sounds like a high school kid begging people to like him.

Talk about blowing your own horn..

I’ve served for three years on the NBA Competition Committee, which includes only the highest-ranking basketball persons.

You may have also heard that Donnie allowed me to be the team’s point person for the design, development and marketing of Conseco Fieldhouse. To this day, most NBA persons consider the fieldhouse the finest arena ever built.

wow, I read it as sincere and reaching out to fans. Telling them a little about what you can bring. I liked it.

All most of us have been hearing about him is negative. He's just coming out and giving us some positive insights about himself and using facts to back it up.

Yeah but the negatives have been about him being a penny pincher and things of that nature. Not about what boards he has served on or what arena he helped build.

Yeah. Zgoda's blog has basically been a place where people have been pimping the idea of Lindsey, Penn, and that clown Simmons. Not too much positive has been said about Kahn.

So he posts there to seem "in-touch" with the fans, while "tooting his own horn". He wants people to like him. We all do, of course, but most of us don't try so hard.

He needs to realize that if he does go out and bust his tail to make this team successful, and he turns us into a resptable franchise, the fans will follow.

His past doesn't mean jack at this point. It's his present and future is the only thing that matters.

If that's true then everyone needs to cut him some slack and give him a chance to do the job in MN before passing judgement.

At this point, yes, I agreed. Before he was signed, I think it's fair to present his past as an argument to not hire him. Now that he's been hired and is officially a member of the FO staff, he needs to be judged on how he does from here on out.

I just think it was a poor choice, but I hope I'm proven wrong.
