Rehab on his injury apparently has gone quite well. His improvement at the beginning of the year was something we were all quite happy with (improved shooting and consistent defense). He looks to be a key part of our rotation this year provided he stays healthy (should be 100%). Quite possibly a starter/glue guy/defensive stopper type at the 2/3 next season.

his future should be competing to be in the 9 man rotation. He should be treated like a late 1st round pick and has to earn his minutes.

his is our biggest wildcard.
At the very least he is a high energy defensive guru that we can start if we have plenty of scoring around him (ala bruce bowen). However the hope is that he turns into Tayshaun Prince.

Yeah, I think his future lies somewhere on the B. Bowen - T. Prince gradient.

I still have a lot of hope for Brewer. I think it is damn near impossible to grade this career thus far. He comes off as a hard worker. Hopefully his shot will become consistent in addition to his defense, and he will become an intangible piece of our team.

My first post!!!
I think once we draft Henderson Corey should be expendable.

Whoa, pump ya brakes kid. I love GH more than others here, but no way do we grab him if Evans, Harden or hell Holiday are on the board. And if all 3 of them are gone, that means someone else fell that we should look at.

Pretty positive that Evans, Harden, Holiday, and DeRozan have to be higher on the Wolves board than Gerald Henderson. Add in Griffen and Rubio, plus the good chance someone like Jennings or Hill goes before us, the only way we get Henderson is if he drops hard all the way to #18.
Even still, I don't think that means good-bye to Brewer. Brewer's going to have a good season next year. He's not "expendable". Not saying he's the second coming of Michael Jordan, more on the Scottie Pippen level, but seriously, why are we trying to get rid of him? Give him a moment to get his feet wet.

FWIW, I'd personally take Henderson over Derozan, but in all likelyhood he is higher on the Wolves board.

Who, in no particular order of value, I would take ahead(even if just for the value of trading later) of Henderson:
Griffin, Rubio, Holiday, Hill, Curry, DeRozan, Evans, Harden, Thabeet, Jennings, Clark, Mullens.
Lawson, Maynor, and Teague, and even Daye and Flynn would probably be in contention to go ahead of him too.

No need to apologies for forgetting Thabeet. I like him, but only as the 5/6 prospect.
Brewer is a better prospect than Henderson. You will see that this year. They could play together, but Henderson hardly makes Brewer a trade target.

I, for one, still have a ton of hope for Brew Crew. I hope with all my heart that he comes back 100%, showing continued improvement on his jumper, and plays a major role for us this year. I also really want us to draft Holiday, and love the idea of Holiday and Brewer just shutting fools down on the perimeter. I think the combination of those two would do so much for our perimeter d (and in turn our overall d) that defense would no longer be our most glaring weakness, allowing Al and Love to play more minutes together.

He's a young guy that MIN fans probably have greater hopes invested in than other teams, so I think its unlikely he'd make a good trade target for you.
I suspect we'd be more likely to trade Gomes than Brewer.

My honest opinion since before we even drafted him...
He won't be any good in the NBA

I think his future depends completely on getting an actual PG here who can get him easier looks, I strongly believe that Brewer more than anyone else on this team has suffered from playing without a decent PG here.
