Surprised to see Curry at #2, even though he apparently made a big impression at the combine. Jennings looks like he's dropping. Interesting that Flynn comes in ahead of Holiday and Evans, too...

I can't see why there's any incentive for the highest ranking decision makers of teams to give an accurate answer to this survey.

Let's hope Sac-town takes Flynn.

Completely agree. Putting aside the point that Chad Ford doesn't do much for me in terms of his basketball analysis, if I was a GM, I'd be throwing out misinformation left and right about the players I loved/hated. This article was pointless.

Flinn at #3 is really surprising...

We can cross out Calathes...I read today that he has signed a 3-year-deal with Panathinaikos Athen (including a high buyout)...so he won't come over soon.

Well Calathes is not a player I like and I don't think he could end up being a Timberwolf so I'm not really up to date about him.

There's something about an NBA buy-out after year one that's manageable, otherwise a team would have to wait the full three years.

I could understand Curry. He looked good at the combine, has a unique and very productive skillset, and will benefit from the lack of physical defense in the modern NBA.

I just do not see it with Flynn.

Jennings seems kind of low to me.

I agree Calinks. I think if Jennings slips that far he's going to be the steal of the draft. Keep in mind, he was the #1 rated player coming out of college. If he had gone pro then he would have been a top 5 lock. Since then he's played overseas against the next best competition in the world behind the NBA where he willingly took his coach's directions to come off the bench, and when that coach was fired he took over a starting role and went off. I don't know what other GMs are missing here. This guy is incredible. I really would like to see him end up on the T-Wolves.

And why the hell is Kahn talking about trading the #18 pick??? He should act like that pick doesn't even exist ... it's not lottery protected after next year. I would let that pick ride until you got into the top 10. Makes no sense to use it now.

The 18th pick is the pick for the 2009 draft from Miami. You must be thinking of the 1st round pick we are owed by Utah that was protected this year.

In the Italian League, Jennings averaged 5.5 pts, 1.6 reb, 2.2 ast, 1.5 stl in 17.0 mpg. He shot 35% FG and 20.7 percent from 3.[13] In Euroleague games, Jennings averaged 7.6 pts, 1.6 reb, 1.6 ast, and 1.2 stl in 19.6 mpg, 38.7% FG and 26.8% from 3. He also never went to college.

So, I'm not an expert on Jennings, but those stats don't jump out at me, when did he suddenly make this incredible jump?

Anyways, I don't deny his talent, but he's Corey Brewer skinny and can't shoot. He's out of the conversation at 6, and I don't know how high I'd trade up for him. If he fell to us at 18, I think that's too much value to pass up however.

Scouts had him #1, Rivals had him at #4, but I understand your point

I know Miami gave up the `18 and took Kandi & Ricky Uggh.

Few things wrong here.

Jennings came out of HIGH SCHOOL, never went to college.

Jennings was forced to play a lot of shooting guard over in Europe, and pretty much wasted a year of development. Sounds like he's more mature, but...

We have the #18 pick in the draft from Miami. We can't just say, "No we'll wait til next year to use it." Even if we could, that would be assuming a team with Dwayne Wade and Michael Beasley is suddenly going to start sucking any time soon.

And in my opinion, Jennings will bust.

I don't know if I'd say he wasted a year of development. He played against tougher competition and was forced to learn how to play defense and be a pro. I don't how it compares to playing his natural position in college, but I'd assume he learned some things.

If Jennings was that good at PG, he wouldn't have been forces to play SG. Say no to Jennings.

From the sounds of it, his defense is still less than stellar, though. My hope would have been to see development as a point guard, leading a team, running an offense, setting other guys up with good fundamental plays.
