MN-Charlotte

MN Out: Mike Miller (final year of contract) + #28 draft pick
MN In: Gerald Walace (4 years remaining) + #12 draft pick
Charlotte Out: Gerald Wallace (4 years remaining) + #12 draft pick
Charlotte In: Mile Miller (final year of contract) + #28 draft pick
Why? Big cap savings for Charlotte heading into 2010. Larry Brown is a big Mike Miller guy. Wolves need the athleticism Wallace brings and would likely package their these 1st-round picks into two picks (#6, #12, #18). Might be the way to move up and get Rubio.
Rubio - Telfair ... Hopefully telfair would only see 5-10 minutes pt/night.
Foye - Brewer/Carney ... Foye must step up his defense or Brew/Carney will take minutes
Wallace - Gomes ... Gomes is too slow to be a starter and backup role is perfect fit.
Love - Williams ... Williams may or may not get the opportunity
Jefferson - Clark(#12) or Mullens(#18) ... dependng if we package 6+12 or 6+18. Need youth/big man
Finally a legit PG. Foye/Wallace/Brewer/Gomes/Carney man the SG/SF matchups. Clark/Mullens have time to develop behind Jefferson and Love, and if all goes well, continue to learn and develop behind Pevolic in 2010. Must get jefferson out of C position and to his PF position on a regular basis.
