Someone mentioned this on the trade board and I thought it was interesting.
Foye/#28 to Memphis for Conley
What do you guys think?
I kind of like it since I think Conley is a better fit for us than Foye (and I think Conley has more potential), and since we would have more cap space in 2010 since we wouldn't have had to extend Foye either.

I'd do it, I'm stoned on Conley

I am not a big fan of Conley. I might do it if Darko and Cardinal were added.
This a little off topic but since every thread turns into a draft thread..
Where would Conley rank in this drafts PGs? Also where would Augustin rank?

Darko for Cardinal makes it worse for me. Conley would be the #2 PG if you're considering his stock coming off of a championship loss.

Even if the Wolves waive Darko once Al comes back it would still be worth it. Am I the only one that hated watching a Gomes/Smith frontcourt?
Where would you put Conley in the draft? 4th to the Kings if Rubio is gone?

Darko is a bad influence. 4th to the Kings is a good spot

Yeah I can't really argue with that. Cardinal and Madsen would need to stay on the roster to keep Darko in check and that leaves no one to trade for Darko.
How about Augustin in the draft (w/ Conley still in it)? I have a hard time comparing Conley to other PGs. I honestly don't think there are many players I have seen play (in the nba) less than Conley. Probably JJ Hickson and Ryan Anderson but that is about it.

You are seriously overrating conley. He has really stunk it up, especially with regards to leading a team as a PG. But then again foye sucks too. I'd rather try one of the pg's in this draft than trade for conley.

I agree, at least we know Foye can fill some sort of role (scorer off the bench), whereas Conley has yet to prove he can be more than a backup PG.

Conley had a better season than Foye, there's no questions about his position, he's way more athletic, and he's 5 years younger

I would do it but I can't see Mem trading Foye for Conley. They have Mayo, they don't need Foye.

Ohio State! You want a player from OH State?
Here's a list.
http://www.basketballreference.com/play ... UniversityFind me a current NBA player doing anything more than role player status. I see NONE
I was pre-programmed to think duke players suck, but I'm changing my tune. Ohio State sucks.
Besides WHEN we trade Foye it will be for a pick. (I just like making stuff up)

I like Conley as a young PG, but why would Memphis want Foye?

I guess it depends on what you call a role player
