DX:
Tyreke Evans
Terrence Williams
Wayne Ellington
Demarre Carroll
Jodie Meeks
nbadraft.net (just for fun, check out this insanity)
Stephen Curry
Jrue Holiday
Austin Daye
Danny Green
Dante Cunningham
Can you imagine actually pulling that off and making no trades?
RealGM:
James Harden
Austin Daye
Darren Collison
Ahmad Nivins
Brandon Costner
Yahoo:
Tyreke Evans
Eric Maynor
DaJuan Summers
CBS Sports (Brian Levenson):
Tyreke Evans
Terrence Williams
Patrick Mills
CBS Sports (Sekou Smith):
Jrue Holiday
Ty Lawson
DaJuan Summers
CBS Sports (Fred Kerber): OH MY GOD! Nightmare draft!!!
Jrue Holiday
DeJuan Blair
Jodie Meeks
I'd say DX and Yahoo probably have the most accurate estimations of draft night.

Austin Daye? Not a good choice, unless we're only trying to improve our average team height.

anybody remember that Nintendo game Ice Hockey, you could pick either fat guys that were strong, normal guys that were, well, normal, or skinny guys that were fast. It was always funner to pick fat or skinny guys though

Ok, let's get Manute Bol out of retirement then. At least he can say he's over-the-hill when he doesn't produce anything for the team.

Daye can shoot and he's reasonably athletic with great length. He's a reach at 18, but he'd be a good pick at 28.

I wouldn't say he's a reach at 18 even, his upside is huge if he can put on any kind of strength at all. Not often that you find those kind of skills outside of the top 10. 2 blocks, 7 boards and 42% from 3 is pretty rare company.

First off, Daye would be a decent choice at 18 and an absolute steal at 28. DSW already explained the why.
Second, 3 bigs and 1 skinny = nintendo hocky championship. put it on the board, yes!

Very much disagree with your first point, but heartily agree with your 2nd, although I was more of a Blades of Steel fan.

Sports Illustarted Website has us taking
#6- Hasheem Thabeet
#18- Eric maynor
#28- Nick Calathes (Who will play overseas)
I would be happy with that draft, but I doubt it plays out anything like this mock. He has Tyreke Evans going #2 and Jonny Flyn going #4

My favorite is nbadraft.net even though they are the ones that make the worst pick for us at #6 with Curry.
I would love Holliday at #6 and if we were to get him at #18, I would be ecstatic. (I would like Holliday at #6, and like Curry at #18); Daye at #28 and Green in the 2nd round are also very nice.

Here's hoping that he goes in the top 5 and pushes Harden to us, not going to happen, but I wish.

So here we go with my final mock for us before the draft in five days!
#6- Tyreke Evans
Our shooting guard of the future, This kid will be special and along with Jefferson and Love will orm the core of our future.
#18- Ty Lawson
A future back court of Lawson/Evans/Foye/Brewer is about as deep and talented on both sides of the court as you court ever need. With our first two picks in this draft we go from weak in the back court to potentially dominating.
#28- Jonas Jerebko
Rumours are that he only wants to stay in europe one more season after being drafted. THis guy could become our dirty min utes player like Harpring or Posey. The guy whos a jack of all trades and does what the team needs.
#45- Derick Brown
He is still raw and alittle undersized but his talent is there to see. I like him as a scoring option off the bench at the 3 or 4.
#47- Slave Kravstov
I watched some clips of this kid and I think hes worth a flyer this late in the draft. Stash him overseas and se what happens, probably nothing but hey, if it works he will be a steal.

I do like Evans, and if I can't have Rubio, he's the consolation prize and agree he will be a good long-term player for the Wolves. Lawson is simply a player I do not have enough exposure to, but with the 18th, it doesn't sound like it would be a bad pick.

He still says that Curry-Foye would be a "formidable" backcourt. What a goon.
