This assumes Blatche is really good ... border-line all-star. We can assume the ole #2/Gay for #6/Love, so it's Smith/Miller/#28 for Thomas/Blatche. Smith for Thomas. Miller/#28 for Blatche.

My answer is: No. Butler is the guy I'd want from Washington, but I'm not even sure about that due to Gomes/Brewer already here and his $$ on a rebuilding team is not favorable either.

This seems like a pretty easy yes for the Wolves.

Love = #2
#6+#28 = #5

Then it's Miller and Smith for Gay, Thomas, and Blatche

Sign me up.

Or it's...

Love+#6=#2+Gay
Then it's Miller+Cookie+#28 for #5, Thomas, and Blatche

I like it.

I knew it looked familiar. And he bashed it when you posted it, then posted it himself. What a tool.

I would need to be convinced that Love is of equal value to #2 (Rubio)...

Currently, i would not trade Love for the #2...the rest of the deal seems ok, but Rubio is not worth Love for me right now.

Our team sure seems to attract the crackpots to come and post. And I don't mean just us, crackpots though we may be.

The more I think about it, the more I think Washington would for sure turn this down; but what about this variation
Memphis trades #2, #27, buckner for #18, Love
Washington trades #5, Pecherov, Stevenson, James, Thomas for buckner, rights Pekovic,Madsen, Miller
Minnesota trades #18, love, rights pekovic, madsen, miller for #2, #5, #27, Pecherov, Stevenson, James, Thomas

Memphis gains Love and moves up some with their 2nd pick, that should be enough to entice them to trade #2
Washington saves a ton of cash since they take back a lot less salary and they can waive buckner and save a lot of salary as well, they also get rights Pekovic (it seems Kahn wants to use him as a trade piece) who is a young guy that they could bring over
Areas/Young/Butler/Jamison/Haywood, bench of Critt/Miller/Miller/Blatche/McGee
We get Rubio and one of Harden or Thabeet in the trade (since 1 Beasley 2 Rubio 3 Harden or Thabeet 4 a PG 5 Harden or Thabeet)
We draft either
#2 Rubio, #5 Harden, #6 Hill
or #2 Rubio, #5 Thabeet, #6 one of Evans, Curry, DeRozan, Holliday, Henderson
