Sorry if this is in one of the other posts, but what was the final deal we made for him? I'm assuming cash and a future 2nd rounder. Just didn't make sense to me as you could do a deal like that anytime, unless Calathes completely bottomed out overseas.

Yep you got it: 1) there's another thread, and 2) we got cash and a future second.
