If the Thunder offered:
Jeff Green
Earl Watson (expiring)
Suns 2010 pick (likely top 5)
for
Kevin Love
Ricky Rubio
Would you do that deal?

Nope. Love is at least equal to Green, and Rubio for the rest? Eeesh.

In MN at least, though other teams have agreed as well, Love > Green and Rubio > than the Suns pick which could be anywhere in the lottery and quite possibly in 10 or greater. Also, Cap space > Watson who is another PG (MN has 4 before or after trade) and don't have a bad contract where they would need a PG short of Songaila.
Clark rights were with the Suns last I saw, Green and Watson with OKC, who this trade is with.

BUT WE GET AN EXPIRING, GUYS! We should trade two guys on rookie deals just for the expiring.
What makes you think Rubio would want to play for OKC?

we are going to be hearing these crap trade offers for a very long time, me thinks. Love for Green is an interesting offer, but us throwing in Rubio too..

The Suns are going to have a top 5 pick next year?
I highly doubt that. Even without Amare, they'll still have Nash, Barbosa, Richardson, Clark, and at worst Brandon Wright and Biendrins. That's still going to be a competitive teams.

This is a rather bad offer. And OKC is a smaller marker than MPLS.

Fantastic deal...for OKC.
Why would a team with at least five, and as many as eight, expiring contracts as it is want or need to take on more?

This trade is terribly lopsided, but ...
Love for Green is a good deal that would balance both teams rosters nicely IMO.

valuevise right now yes but I think Love will turn out to be a bit bettern than Green at the end of the day.
