What do you think of a sign and trade deal with Chicago . Love and Madson for Gordon. Having a 2 guard like Gordon might convince Rubio to play for Minnesota. Chicago needs a power forward.

wow... you may need to add Jerome James and Tim Thomas and Al Jefferson as filler to help the number work out?

Ben Gordon the best offensive player in free agency. Minnesota signs him for a contract starting at 10 million then have increases every year. Jefferson and Gordon give the Wolves 2 solid scorers to build around. The Wolves would be set a guard for years with 2g Gordon , Ellington Pg Rubio , Flynn. They would also still have a ton of cap room next year and muti draft picks.

i'm pretty sure thats the worst defensive backcourt in the NBA and we are pretty bad defensively in the front court too. I'd think we'd say no to this in a heartbeat. Trading big for little, we already have enough short guards, 10mill who is not a starter on playoff team, and trading him for one of the best rebounders in the NBA already. this trade screams lets trade our junk for your stuff. no thank you

Either you're from the past, or I'm from the future, but either way: what?

well played. he did start on a playoff team. i change my mind, great trade. was trying to insinuate he's a better 6th man than anything. lets make this deal work.

nah...Gordon is a good player but I don't want him on our team. He'll cost too much right now.

look i understand he's a good player and all, he's hit some big shots, he was great at UCONN with Emeka, but even you have to agree he isn't worth 10mill and no rebiuilding team is going to trade off their young prospects for a SG in a PG body who isn't named Iverson at that price.

Gordon has some pretty big muscles, I'd buy his workout book if he had one

Me too. I'm not paying $10 mil for a guy that will be known as "the other Gordon."

Remember, MIN doesn't need Ben's produiction this year anyway. And I would dare your cheap owner to sign-and-trade Ben Gordon anyway. You didn't get Hinrich moved, so you'd be way over the lux if you S&T'd, and that's something you guys never do. No reason to offer up Love on something that could be talent-free.

I don't have a ton of interest in Ben Gordon, period. The fact that he thinks he's worth 10 million a year and I suppose will cost that much(there is a distinction) just makes it easier to say no.

I'd love BG to play for the Wolves, but not at the cost of Kevin Love...

He is well beyond being the other Gordon in my mind. When I hear the name Gordon I first think of Eric Gordon, then Gordon Bombay, Joseph Gordon Levitt (Tommy, 3rd Rock), then Jeff Gordon, and finally Ben Gordon.
