He's an unrestricted free agent, and could possibly end up back with the team that drafted him, as the Timberwolves are thin at the position.
Made me chuckle.

hmmmm, McCants back w/ the Wolves? Nah, he offers nothing in minimal roles, and is too inconsistent in big minutes.

Laughing Out Loud. He will never ever again end up being a Timberwolf.

I'd rather roll with Wayne and sign Christmas. Costs less, probably similar production, avoid the terrible attitude and delusions of grandeur.

Aren't McCants tattoos worth picking him up again?

Yeah, cause that's going to happen.

Maybe his buddy KG will get him a minimum salary deal in Boston.

sigh I'm still one of the few McCants supporters but I really don't want him on our roster again.

Ah. Well hopefully he lands somewhere . I definitely don't see him coming back here. It would have been cool to have the McCants siblings playing in the same state though. If he came really cheap he might be worth a look because we are jacked up at the two but I really don't see that happening. Maybe the Bobcats will give him a look.

yes, +50000 to the Celtics, I want to see Tony Allen and McCants on the floor at the same time

Are they keeping Marbury as backup PG? Because him and McCants in the backcourt together would be pure comedy.

Celtics should consider taking him. KG would do Shad some good.

Nice, Marbury, McCants and Tony Allen on the perimeter - I think we might see the 2 front court players try the first ever same-team-half-court-trap to try and get the ball out of their hands

I would consider KG the only guy in the league who could get McCants back on track in his career.
Dude will make him work hard and Ray Allen will teach him how to be an efficient shooting guard.

He easily goes and signs with the Celts, he was a different player when he was on the floor with KG and I think he could benefit greatly from going to boston. Anywhere else and his career is close to over

I'd take McCants on the Lakers over Vujacic. Kobe could probably help him out a lot like KG would.

Yeah, maybe. McCants is that kind of player you need to kick in the butt if you want him to be successful. He is very talented but lazy and needs someone who brings him back into reality

I don't know if Kobe would like him...doesn't the vast majority of the league hate him because he thinks he's an NBA god??? I don't think I'd want some cocky brat on my team as my apprentice if I was kobe, ray allen, etc. unless I really thought his talent level and potential are worth my time. Like someone said before, I think KG is the only one with a chance of turning McCants career around.
