Trade for a young wing.

Post#1 » by Esohny » Sat Jul 4, 2009 4:03 am

The Celtics need some better front court depth, we could use a cheap young SG/SF.

MN out:
Songaila

Celtics out:
Bill Walker
Brian Scalabrine

Wolves clear more 2010 cap and get a 21-year-old Walker to try out on the cheap. Celtics upgrade their bench production.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Bill Walker is a punk. No way Kahn would want him on the Wolves.

I have some inside info that the Wolves board is signing a big time free agent to help them win in the short term, but he'll be off the cap quickly, and won't effect the 2010 space, but will probably make them immediate champions.

Casey, I can't get over that new shirt. It seems like a word from A Clockwork Orange. "I got punched in me gulliver and then kicked in me wovles".

In an attempt to bring this even further off topic, I've never seen that movie. Should I?

Yes. Put it at the top of your must rent list. I don't know if many rental places would have it, but if you have netflix they should have it.

It's available to watch instantly on Netflix, so I'll watch it at some point this weekend.

Good call. I am suprised more people haven't seen the movie or read the book. I was in a film class last year and wrote my midterm paper on this movie and no one in the class had seen it and only one person had read the book. But then again that was in Brainerd.. No offense to anyone from there.

*If the Wolves were to trade for a bone head wing on the Celtics I would prefer Tony Allen over Walker. Atleast we know Allen can play good D. Walker has shown nothing but a bad attitude.
