I think this is like the demand for the ex GM of the Detroit Lions as a commentator. Say what you want about McHale; I think this idea is ripe for comedy.

being a bad talent evaluator doesn't mean you can't have an in depth understanding of what's happening on the court/field and Millen and McHale were both top shelf athletes in the NFL/NBA and have shown good understanding in the past in their TV work

This will be cool because we can see some McHale/Charles highlights. Also they will likely at least have to talk about the wolves once so more air time for us.

Totally agree and would add that McHale will be very entertaining on TV, especially with the Chuckster. Barkley has often stated that McHale was his toughest opponent ever. It would be interesting to see them work together off the court. Talk about the odd couple, a tall gangly white dude and a short chunky black dude. Both quick witted smart a**es though so I hope it happens, it will be fun.

YEAH! haha. Maybe...and this is a big Maybe...but if McHale is on there and Rubio/Flynn/Ellington are together and playing well with Al and Love healthy down low and we are winning some games, MAYBE we might get a nationally televised game for once! That would only be once Rubio is over obviously for national appeal purposes but hey if he is already in Gillette commercials and not even playing here yet, then he sure as hell would get us a bunch of Nat'l tv games! SWEET

I just hope McHale doesnt bash the team every opportunity he gets, he seemed bitter when he was let go.

It wouldn't be surprising if ex-Timberwolves coach Kevin McHale is paired with Charles Barkley in TNT's booth for NBA broadcasts next season. "

yes...yes it is just me.

But come on...Charley Walters. He's still living off calling the Hassell to Dallas trade.

It would definitely be interesting. Like others have mentioned, McHale was very good on TV previously. It would be cool if he would talk about his experience in the front office too, how they made decisions, how they evaluated talent.
