This is my first post so be gentle. I know this trade would have to be delayed but tell me what you think.
Minnesota Trades:
Al Jefferson -- $12,000,000
Quentin Richardson -- $8,700,000
Minnesota Receives:
Tyson Chandler -- $11,700,000
Gerald Wallace -- $9,500,000
Minnesota Depth Chart
Flynn/Atkins/Brown/(Rubio?)
Ellington/Wilkins/Brewer
Wallace/Gomes/Brewer
Love/Pecherov/Cardinal
Chandler/Hollins/Sangaila
Why?
Prep for Rubio coming over, much better for run-and-gun style of play. Clear up the logjam at PF, improve perimeter and interior defense.

Personally i would rather give up Love instead of Al

I doubt that CHA would take that though -- I'm not too sure on their position. Also, if Flynn pans out we could try trading for a perimeter threat SG? Or do you think we keep him for depth?

I really like Wallace and Chandler, so I think it's a nice effort at a Jefferson trade. I would still give it a no from the Timberwolves perspective. I personally wouldn't trade Jefferson and if I did, I'd expect a top notch NBA talent in return.
I'd gladly do most Wallace + Chandler trades if they don't involve Jefferson.

An oft injured Center and an oft injured SF whom on paper seem young (both are 26/27 i believe) however both have a ton of mileage and neither are on the level of Jefferson. Seems like a good attempt to balance the roster, but we want to surround Jefferson with Chandler and Wallace types, not deal him for those players.

Value isn't far off, but due to injury concerns of both Wallace and Chandler, I would have to vote against the trade. They are the type of players that would work well in a running type offense, they are both defensive orientated, but the injury concerns would be unshakable for me. Also, that is a good amount of dollars and Shrink may have a heart attack. Finally, our shooting gets a bit worse (don't trust Wallace as a shooter and Chandler can dunk reliably, but that's about it) and that would hurt our half court offense as teams would pack the lane a bit against us (sure they do it to us now with Al Jeff, but we are designed for spacing and Al being doubled in the post if we find the complimentry shooters/players)
Overall, have to go against, but like the idea of bringing in athletes. I could deal with less shooting potentially, especially if the defense is much improved (like here), but it would only be improved if the players can stay on the floor, big question mark there.

Wolves pass. Hurts us financially, we get older, more injury prone, and lose our #1 option for a couple #3 options. No thanks.

Values not bad, but Minnesota puts all their eggs in one basket. Minnesota is no longer a rebuilding team and they base their hopes that these guys can stay healthy. I would rather have next years top 10 draft pick in a draft class that looks pretty good.

Value is not there. Both Chandler and Wallace could be had for less. Wallace is likely on that list of players that could be had for exp contracts and draft picks. Chandler for even less. If we wanted to destroy our cap and future assets we could bring both of those guys in tomorrow.
