i do miss TB also, killer mid-range game, amazing at controlling pace. I'd argue there was a point where he was the best PG in the NBA. Wally, Rasho, Jefferson, Mitchell, Leatner and even Ricky Buckets belong on that list more than Spree and JR, and really, i love him, but Malik is purely sentimental.

when are they going to start talking about Bob Dylan, Whiskey Johnson, Jimmy Jam, The Trashmen, Soul Asylum, and Marcy Playground (maybe when most of them start winning Grammys i'd guess.) And seriously it hasn't been under 80 more than twice all summer. too f'ing hot!

If I was going to pick the best possible twolve lineup that would play best together, i would have to go with..

C - Big Al / EJ
PF - KG / Love
SF - Wally Z / Ricky D
SG - Spree / Hoiberg
PG - Brandon / Cassell

Sealy I agree with. Gugs to, but he shouldn't start. I dobn't think Billups was a better WOLF than Cassell was though.

Rider, Davis, and Marbury get bounced off my team for being head cases (a case could be made for Spree also but he wasn't on the same level as the others). So that leaves my team as:

was Davis really a headcase while he was in town? I'd like to argue he was pretty close to a model citizen. He played hard pretty much every night, good stats, played defense more than 50% of the time. AND he showed an ability to put up points when KG wasn't. I'd say he did everything we asked and didn't go to jail or murder anyone or get caught drunk driving.

if sealy is considered for his impact and sentimental value. we need to consider Erving not so magic Johnson. Dude was probably the best center we ever had in terms of fitting the role asked of him and it showed in how that season went. Played defense + boxed out + altered shots - stupid mistakes = best finish in history

A motivated Eddie Griffin would be on my team for backup C.

I'd also like to point out that Ricky wasn't a headcase when he was here. People seem to forget that he really matured over time and was still a decent player by the time we got him. I'd even say that he wasn't that big of a headcase when he was with Boston. They loved him there.

I'm sorry but walking out on your team during a game is something that you just don't do. He may have matured some but he didn't mature completely.

Defense. Don't necessarily want/need the best 5 scorers in the starting 5. Need the best combination of offense/defense and stars/role players. Though Wally would look good with both Al and KG if Al would ever learn to pass the ball.

Hassell then, easy. Sealy was a bench/role player for the team for about 100 games. He is not the team's "best" anything. If he was traded for another role player in the off-season instead of being killed by a drunk driver, he would not be mentioned in any of these lists.
