3. Minnesota Timberwolves (Kevin Love, Jonny Flynn, Wayne Ellington, Corey Brewer)
Kevin Love and Al Jefferson will one day be the next McHale and Parrish. Love has the complete package and was groomed from birth to be a star. I don’t see anybody being able to stop that front court down the line. Yeah Ricky Rubio, pulled a Steve Francis-esque move by refusing to play in Minnesota. While that could change in the next few years, I wouldn’t count on it. Fortunately they snagged up Syracuse’s Jonny Flynn who has Nate Robinson type athleticism. Corey Brewer and Wayne Ellington are good young prospects who were both winners in college.

I would take the Nets core over the Kings core.
Harris > Martin
Lopez > everyone else on the Kings

its ok because the NY post looks like the knicks are going to get Rubio again. Since the first 75 reports about it weren't true this one has to be, they can't trick us that many times with bad "journalism" can they?

I'm not sure Memphis is above us either. Gay is looking to be fairly one dimensional with just selfish offense and Thabeet is definately one dimensional at this point. Very nice pieces but i'm not sure its the foundation the article makes it out to be. Rainbow Zach Randolph being their best post option for the next 100 years and 8billion dollars really brings a team's potential down.

To be fair, using their criteria (which means no Big Al), I don't think our core is better than the Clippers. Memphis has a lot of talent but I hate the fit. I think I'd rank them:
1. OKC
2. LAC
3. MIN
4. MEM
5. NJ
6. SAC (love how they had to sneak Martin in there)

it's odd that they don't include Big Al while they include Martin and Durant. then again we might take this as a compliment. Big Al has made it already into the league and contributes.
