For those of us not lucky enough to make it into the first created fantasy bball league, here's another:

I don't ever recall the site asking me to set a limit on the teams that joined, so uh...yeah. if someone either knows how to check that or...I guess we could just let people keep joining or something?

For the record I hate everyone in that other league for filling it up so fast, so I joined this one.

Count me in on this league as well. We will be the leage with the cool people, no need to hate on them J2J.

And man, that other league filled in fast or I hadn't checked in with RealGM in a longer amount of time then I had originally thought.

Roto or HTH?

Can we be in both?

I don't have a problem with it, but maybe just wait a couple days before you sign up if you're in the other league, just so guys not in that league get a chance to be in this one first.

in commish tools, under edit league settings you can edit the max number of teams.

there are 150 starters in the nba. 12 teams x 15 players = 180 players.
the pickings start to get real thin with more teams, or i would've loved to have everyone.

oh...I LOVE 30 team fantasy. I've done it a few times before and there's nothing better than flexing your sleeper pick muscles in late rounds. One year I picked Andris Biedrins, Kevin Martin and Monta Ellis in the bottom of the barrel rounds and they ALL had breakout years, there's nothing quite that satisfying. I might organize a 30 team league in a few weeks...be on the look-out for it if any of you want in. I'll probably post it here for a day or 2 before posting on other boards to fill it out.

It's h2h, but I think I'm going to change it to roto, because h2h w/ playoffs basically makes the regular season pointless...plus fantasy playoffs are always at the end of the regular season when teams locked into their seed are resting their big guns and crappy teams are tanking so the results aren't really all that accurate.

regular season title has more prestige in h2h.
you can move up the playoffs a week this year to help avoid the tanking.
last year i got burned by bargnani and z-bo in the final week.

that'd be a fantastic idea, even if we can't find 30 ppl, 24 wolves board members would make an intereseting league as well (10 players each? 5 start 5 reserve no bench)

Just an FYI -- championships in 30 team leagues are often determined more by injuries than by skill. If you lose one of your Top 3 guys to injury, its very rare that someone you may have gotten 50 picks later in a serpentine draft has enough upside to cover your loss.

I'd definitely be up for a monster league.

I'd play in the 2nd league if you need filler, can we simply add 3-4 other spots to the other league though?

The other league has like 15 roster spots. So 12 teams X 15 roster spots = 180 players = someone having Rasho Nesterovic, Beno Udrich, or Ben Wallance on their teams.

I'm in the league and I was wondering if the draft time could be pushed back 45 minutes to an hour? I work until 7:30 so that would work better for me.

Also, Hello everyone! This is only my 2nd post. I've been reading almost daily since the 2006 lottery (I actually wanted Foye over Roy), But I've just gotten an account. Also, I've noticed that I've gotten a ton of those "Your computer needs to be scanned!!!" pop ups since I've created an account. Has anyone else had any problems with that? If so, what are your reccomendations? Thanks again, and I look forward to posting often.
