With Kahn saying that Big Al is a second best player on a championship team, who can or should to T-Wolves look at bringing in? I'm not scrictly limiting this to free agency, I'm just wondering which player they should look at teaming with Al to take this team to the next level.

I think it's too early to evaluate the situation. I think the hope is that Rubio or Flynn can become that Superstar. If that doesn't happen, then we hope for a top pick in the 2010 or 2011 drafts (which might even be too long of a wait). If that doesn't happen, then I believe we will have to trade for one with Rubio, Love, Jefferson, and Flynn all being bait. It doesn't seem possible to get a Durant, Lebron, Wade, etc. without giving up two or three of those pieces IF they all pan out.

If I had to pursue someone to pair with Al, I think it'd be Danny Granger. I like Granger most because he can do pretty much everything well, and even drop loads of points if he needs too. The only problem is, I don't think we have anything that would make Indy trade him right now. If Rubio turns into a superstar in Spain, then maybe Rubio plus assest could get a deal done, but why not just keep Rubio then?

Carmello would be the perfect fit, maybe his contract runs too long in Denver tho.
Timberwolves hat has to be thrown in for Wade, LBJ prolly would go to Bulls if he left Cavs.

I think we have to go draft, and hopefully use our expirings to net another stud. Free agency is unlikely to get us what we need. We're not going to be able to trade our expirings for a major star but maybe a second or third banana.
