BE PREPARED!!!

Post#1 » by Dandy » Mon Oct 5, 2009 5:37 am

This may be the year we finally give the Clippers that 1st rounder. Personally I will welcome the day cause it means the team is on its way up. GO WOLVES!!

I highly doubt it, and it's a bit early to be worrying about this. If we're like 17 wins or better at the halfway point then yeah I'll be worried but not now.

That would be our luck, considering the depth in this years draft.

David Stern should just contract the Clippers, along with the Grizzlies, then move the Bucks to the Western Conference in our division.

that'd be nice, means we probably stayed healthy and are developing some sweet sweet chemistry. I'm talking advanced Chemistry, not learning periodic table basics and ****, we're talking about balancing redox reactions and dynamic molecular reaction theories, definitely step 2 kinda stuff.

We will still have this pick this year, all the 'poor' teams all have gotten a lot better, every poor team should be looking to have at least over 26 wins

by the looks of things we should be in the 32-35 win rage which would still keep us in the top 10

Don't think we'll lose our pick this season but I think we'll show a lot improvement...I'm especially excited to see how Kevin Love does this season....I expect him to average around 16/11 :)

haha, this thread is kinda funny. Unless our wings preform at a crazy level I don't think we'll have too much to worry about.

For some reason every time I see the thread title, I think of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ6cw_MuTDE

The nerd in me contends that redox reactions are not advanced chemistry.

on a side note, I wish I realized that I really hate science before my junior year as a biochemistry major. Too late now, I suppose.

Eh, you're just in the wrong field of science. But it's never too late to change.

Could be...but I'm almost done with the required courses for my degree, so I might as well just finish it out. No way am I going to grad school for a master's or PhD in this stuff, though. Painful. Almost as painful as if we miss the playoffs and lose our pick to the Clippers.

I thought the Wolves had 2 other first round picks in the 2010 draft?

Yeah it would sting to finish just outside the top 10 but Kahn could still pluck a good player if he has another first round pick to play with. The Rubio chip could also be exchanged for a lotto pick at any time assuming he continues to improve in Europe.

Give it about 2 months in the real world before you decide that you're not going back to school. I was never going to go back to school either, now I've been working for 90 days and I'm already glancing at some PhD programs...

Having two true point guard is the biggest and simplest improvement the Wolves have made. If everybody stays healthy 30-40 wins. A ton more points at the free throw line.

I applaud that major, I think it'll pay off 20 years down the road when you're working in a state of the art science research facility and all the economic majors are living in corrugated steel housing shanty towns

That's a good point Devilz. I think there is going to be a big market for biochemists in the development of biofuels and such. I always wished I had an interest in chemical engineering because I'd be much wealthier than I am now. But, alas, I find the whole subject boring as ****.

I find biofuels at least very interesting; seems like a reasonable next step in the evolution of energy r&d. Baby steps.
