When Blount is cut we will be at 13 guaranteed contracts with Jawai.
If Jason Hart makes the team that is 14 spots.
I doubt we add another player, but
Here are some guys who were waived in the last week:
PF Mike Sweetney
PF Chris Richard
C Jake Voskuhl
SF Ime Udoka
SG Paul Harris
C Garret Siler
PF Maceo Baston
SG Dionte Christmas
PF/C Melvin Ely
PG Dan Dickau
PF/C Goran Suton (50th pick by Utah)
PG Mike WIlks
PG Juan Dixon
SG Jerel McNeal
PF Stromile Swift
PF/C Dwayne Jones
Of those guys Chris Richard might be interesting, he played really well against us in the preseason, showed a much better touch around the basket than in his time here.
I'm also intrigued by Goran Suton from his tournament run with michigan state.
He played really smart for a big guy, showing a high bball IQ and a nice shooting touch.
Maybe we can add to the list as more guys are waived over the next couple days.

I might rather have Dixon than Hart as an "down by 20+ points, throw in a gunner and see if he can get hot" sort of role. I don't know if any of those players are worth a roster spot though.

If Love hasn't played another game in 2009 I would sign Chris Richard to a 10 day contract. Other than that I'm not really interested in anyone.

I think Gomes/Brewer will produce decent as 4th/5th options from what we have seen thus far. We can upgrade it in the offseason or via trade but there is nobody on that list that I would rather give minutes to.

out of that list only Richard and Silar even have a glimmer of want. I tend to agree with everyone that we stand pat unless Love/Jefferson miss more than half the year.

Udoka would be my pick of the lot. But that may just be because I signed him in 2k and it worked well.

If Love/Jefferson are out for a length of time I think Ely or Swift would be a decent stop gap. If we're looking at 3rd PG for emergencies Dickau or Dixon would be acceptable.
I don't think any of them are game changers, but none would be bad for a limited stretch if needed. That said I don't think we go after anyone now.

McCants is still available.
I've never really followed Wolves Basketball, I have a pretty good idea as to why this is, but McCants has got to have the best numbers for a 25 year old SG that can't get even a small offer from an NBA team...ever.

I mean, I don't know the situation but I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back with a 1 year deal. Shad can score and he would instantly be our best shooter. He could come here and put up 12 PPG.

He's an idiot, and a chucker who plays 0 defense and fouls too much...

actually he's a pretty smart and decent basketball player, its the absolute 0 effort that leads to all his problems. and he gives zero effort. and i like kittens. did i mention his lack of effort? but he's got all the tools to succeed, but lacks effort.

hes still better than what we have on our bench now
than again he might get us 2-3 more wins and i doubt kahn will like that much
