I can't either. I'm not sure where I came up with that, but I can't think of an example where more than two picks were traded from a team.

Pau, Garnett, Kidd -- all only included two picks.

Ouch. Kirilenko has stopped playing basketball once he signed that contract. It hurts but I would do it if the pick is likely top 8. Otherwise, not.

The Penny Hardaway / Chris Webber trade involved three future firsts, but may have been under previous CBA.

MIN was poor in this last year, so a drop is disconcerting. However, MIN's not at the bottom of attendance, which probably means they are boosting their early attendance with cheap tickets.

Utah gives: Kirilenko, Boozer, R. Brewer, NYK 1st

MN: similar to 1st trade
Det: get low post presence in Boozer. Brewer is younger than Rip for their rebuild. Gomes and Wilkins provide good depth on the wings. I would bet they resign both Boozer and Brewer given their bird rights, but if not they will have a ton of cap room.
Utah: D. Williams, R. Hamilton, T. Prince, Millsap, Okur. They don't intend to resign Boozer, Kirilenko is a bad contract, and Sloan doesn't like R. Brewer.
