I thought there was a rule that limited a team to giving up two picks per trade?

It sounded reasonable, but I couldn't find anything in Larry's FAQ (#71) on the issue.

I can't either. I'm not sure where I came up with that, but I can't think of an example where more than two picks were traded from a team.
Pau, Garnett, Kidd -- all only included two picks.

Ouch. Kirilenko has stopped playing basketball once he signed that contract. It hurts but I would do it if the pick is likely top 8. Otherwise, not.

The Penny Hardaway / Chris Webber trade involved three future firsts, but may have been under previous CBA.

Maybe. New revenue numbers are out for this season

The Pistons, located in the epicenter of joblessness, have seen paid attendance slip 22 percent, to 14,821 from 18,993 in the first month of 2008-09.
The other teams suffering the most at the gate are the Sacramento Kings (average gate receipts down 36.2 percent), Minnesota Timberwolves (down 24.4 percent) ...
MIN was poor in this last year, so a drop is disconcerting. However, MIN's not at the bottom of attendance, which probably means they are boosting their early attendance with cheap tickets.

How about this version
MN gets: A. Kirilenko, NYK 1st
MN gives: D. Wilkins, R. Gomes, Blount, Pavlovic
Det gets: C. Boozer, R. Gomes, R. Brewer, D. Wilkins
Det gives: T. Prince, R. Hamilton
Utah gets: T. Prince, R. Hamilton, Blount, Pavlovic
Utah gives: Kirilenko, Boozer, R. Brewer, NYK 1st
MN: similar to 1st trade
Det: get low post presence in Boozer. Brewer is younger than Rip for their rebuild. Gomes and Wilkins provide good depth on the wings. I would bet they resign both Boozer and Brewer given their bird rights, but if not they will have a ton of cap room.
Utah: D. Williams, R. Hamilton, T. Prince, Millsap, Okur. They don't intend to resign Boozer, Kirilenko is a bad contract, and Sloan doesn't like R. Brewer.
