Would We Consider This?

Minnesota Sends: Mark Blount(exp), Ryan Hollins, Pechorov(exp)
Minnesota Receives: Andres Biedrens, Brandon Wright
We lose some of our precious cap space in 2010, but we get a defensive center that we need desperetly and an insurance big with potential. We aren't exactly in the Lebron, D-Wade race anyway and with a center in place along with our draft picks and Rubio, we can actually begin to resemble a contender. Let me know your thoughts...

I think we'd hit that in a second, particularly with Brandon Wright included. I think GSW would hate it.

I think we would have to have a secondary deal on hand to deal Jefferson.

Someone would have to be dealt shortly after (Al or Biedrens,) but oh heck yeahs I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Well I worked out a way to move AL after this...
Minnesota Sends: Al Jefferson
Minnesota Receives: Matt Harpring(exp), James Harden, BJ Mullens, DJ White
This is essentially AL for the #3 pick and two late first rounders. That is pretty good value and we save the money we spent bringing over Biedrens. We remain a player in the FA class of 2010 and add a dynamic wing player in Harden. The only setback is creating a nightmare matchup against OKC they will be a scoring machine. So after the two moves we look like...
C: Biedrens, Mullens, Jawai
PF: Love, White, Wright, Cardinal
SF: Brewer, Gomes, Pavlovic
SG: Harden, Ellington
PG: Flynn, Sessions, Hart

While I don't think the value is ridiculously far off, I think both teams bristle indignantly at these offers.

this deal can rival that infamous Klomp's Al Jefferson deal in stupidity.

Now tell me why GS would do this?
Does Nellie plan on making Corey Maggette his starting Center?

Biedrins is the most overrated player in the universe and Wright has accomplished zilch. No I would not waste cap space on that.

I don't like our chances of luring a decent free agent, but I wouldn't waste all that cap space on Biedrins.

I like Biedrins. Locked up at $9 mil per, with a contract that doesn't increase, is a very good price for a defensive center.
Brandan Wright's a high upside prospect, and we need high upside prospects.

All I can say is that I hope no Golden State fans see this....

Biedrins isn't even a center, much less a defensive center. Wright was a high upside prospect 2 years ago. Now he's just Brandan Wright: some guy in the NBA.

Have I overindulged in GSW posts?

Wright is nothing more than a throw-in at this point.
Biedrins is nice though.
