I'm fine with Flynn.
Love should be, too. I don't like when players talk about what could or should have been. We'll acquire 3pt shooters this offseason.

I think he was saying instead of Rubio, at least that's the implication of the article. Of course the quote doesn't say he wished the Wolves would have picked Curry, just that Curry would have been a good pick. Without hearing the entire interview it's tough to make a judgement.

Playing with two rookie PG's wouldn't have been a good idea anyway.
We can see it with Sessions. He can't get as many minutes as he should get.

I couldn't care less about Love's talent evaluation skills, I think the problem would potentially be in the locker room. I don't think your teammates like it when you say you wished the team would have picked somebody else.

Yeah. I think he shouldn't do that. But he seems to change his mind often. Didn't he say before the he wanted us to draft Jennings?

Maybe he wanted Jennings and Curry.
I have this strange suspicion that Flynn might be angry about that comment though.

Ditto. And has Love's 17 months in the NBA earned him the position to whip out opinions like he's Charles Barkley?

Whatever, he's right. The two guys he liked were Curry and Jennings. Either would have been a better pick than Flynn.

That's debatable, but he wasn't talking about Flynn, he was talking about Rubio. And being right is fairly meaningless in this situation.

Debatable. I like Flynn more than both. Jennings seems like AI light. He chucks way too much.

But if he was talking about Rubio shouldn't he know that the team hasn't enough minutes to develop both?

Love wouldn't be the only person who thought Curry could play shooting guard. And we did acquire two point guards anyway.

Curry is even smaller than Rubio.
This can't work on D.

Where are you going with this? Are you trying to imply that Love meant to take Curry instead of Flynn? I think Love knows better than to call out a current teammate, and he's taken subtle shots in the past at Rubio.

Just saying that Love should know it can not work on D. He should let Kahn do the GM work.

Why are you guys saying Love is saying he didn't want Flynn. The indication is that he wanted Curry over Rubio.
I myself have not be overly impressed with Curry but I agree that we need some 3 point shooting in a bad way.

Has nothing to do with Flynn or Rubio ... it has to do with is not having a SG with legit scoring ability. Outside of Ellington (and maybe Wilkins), I highly doubt anyone else within the organization disagrees a bit. Love is merely calling the ace of spaces - black. I don't care if he's been in the league a month or a decade ... if you're man enough to speak the truth, then speak.
I'm not a huge Curry fan, but do see the natural fit he would've had here. Curry along with a healthy Al and Love would be niiiice...

No. This really doesn't do anyone any good and it's potentially harmful to the team.

All he was quoted as saying is that he thinks Curry would have been a good pick too.
Respecting Curry's game. Nothing wrong with that. Seems more like a case of poor/sloppy journalism.
