I usually listen to the post game audio for wolves games. This interview is by Al Jefferson and its one of the better post game interviews I have heard. In the post game after we beat the Wizards, Al had some nice lengthy answers . I really like what he had to say, he was pretty honest about some things. The team seems to be feeling pretty positive right now.

I've never seen Al as the super talkative type but man he didn't even let the people ask questions he just kept talking lol. It was really good and I'm glad the team is in a decent emotional state and starting to feel the triangle offense. I mean, if we felt as bad about how we are playing as other teams do for losing to us I'd be worried. I think with the offense, part of it is that our team just flat out isn't as offensively talented as other teams especially on the perimeter so there's only so much we can do until our players improve or we get an upgrade. I'm feeling like people are at least starting to find their roles on this team which is a good sign. Good interview by Al.

Yea. I thought it was really informative we always wonder what the players are thinking and feeling, I think Al gave us a good idea of where he is at right now.. Most players just answer your questions and get the hell out of there but Al put on a robe, busted out the old English leather chair, lit his pipe, and laid out a fine tale, lol.

Also Al says:

DON'T BLAME THE TRIANGLE!

That was great, I'd love to hear those every game.

I'm glad the guys are starting to come around to the triangle. They certainly look more comfortable running it lately.
One thing that annoys me about it, however, is that we just spent the last offseason upgrading the least important position in that particular system. Perhaps I'm wrong and have poor conception of the triangle.

I don't know that the PG is the least important position in the triangle. I would say the triangle doesn't take full advantage of having a playmaking point guard. The triangle puts more emphasis on getting playmaking from everyone.

I don't think I've ever heard him go into such detail in a post-game interview. He took his time to think about every question and gave pretty insightful answers. In a lot of early season interviews he almost seemed uninterested. It's good to know he's perked up a bit.

I love this part.

Reporter: " 5 assist tonight?"

Big Al: "A career high?"

LOL

The Triangle Offense ... humbles players who think they are better than what they really are. It's a little tougher to handle it if you are more of a one-dimensional player.

I didn't catch these exact words coming out of his mouth in the interview. I'm ready to remove my sig if someone can point out the time when he says those exact words. Until then, I'm blaming the triangle for everything that goes wrong for the timberwolves. For instance, it's definately the Triangle's fault that the Wiz forgot their home uni's and we had to wear our regular jersey's on Hardwood Classic's night...

I don't recall the exact words, but it was something along the lines of he wishes he could blame the triangle sometimes, but he's getting 15 shots a game, so even if he wants to, he can't.

Ye Canna Blame A Triangle!

RE: Al J's support RE: the triangle:
Last line in his recorded interview at link posted earlier:
"That's the blessing about this offense; there's enough shots for everybody."
So how do I make that into a footer?
And how about them Timberwolves, flowin with the go!?!?
