As you saw in the Game Thread, a few of us are not happy with KSTC. I hope those of us who were watching (or should I say, attempting to watch) the end of the game will send a letter to either KSTC or directly to the Timberwolves.
I just sent mine to KSTC......

My fiance got a good laugh at the thought of me calling the station in anger...as an army of one. Glad to know there were some other people watching. Keep fighting the good fight.

I got a response from my email.....
Dear Josh,
We take full responsibility for the interruption in last night's Timberwolves game and are very sorry that this happened. I know it doesn't change the outcome, but what happened last night shouldn't have happened in a million years. One of our engineers was working on our automation system in a separate room in the building and inadvertently triggered a commercial over the Wolves broadcast. The master control operator in charge of the game saw what you saw on the air but had no idea how the commercial appeared in the broadcast. He resolved the issue in 40 seconds...but, of course by then the dramatic finish of the game was over.
We have a tremendous partnership with the Timberwolves and take our obligation seriously. We appreciate your comments and assure you that we will do all we can to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again.
Thank you for taking the time to write to us.
Sincerely,
Susan Wenz | Station Manager

Cursing someone out isn't always the best way to get information. I always try to be respectful, even though inside I'm ready to explode.

I think it's awesome that the Master Control Operator's job description doesn't include having to know how the commercials appear on air. I'd like to apply for that job please. By the sound of it I'd assume it involves laying (possibly drunk) in a hammock in overalls with no shirt or socks and a straw hat over my eyes snoozing with my hound dog sleeping lazily at my side

How about they show the missing games instead of re-runs of Everybody loves Raymond?

Exactly. We should demand that they actually buy some damn games and show them for the rest of the season. I don't give a damn about Raymond, I want my wolves!

Hehe I just sent another email asking about this.....we'll see what they say. I brought up the fact that only 15 Wolves games are being carried, as opposed to 23 Wild games.....

damn, Susan is a real witch!!! I believe it though, when I was in college I wrote to her once, very politely too, and asked if I could intern for free at KSTC. She wrote back and called me derogatory names and said that they don't need my "skills" (she quoted skills in her email) but said if they ever create a position for a Master **** Sucker, that I'd be the first one she'd call. I was appalled.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us. If you ever send a description of how Mr Wayne bumps your trunk again we will be forced to turn the email over to Mr Wayne so he can get a restraining order.
