I think the rookies are going to get destroyed. They don't have too many bigs, Blake Griffin is injured, and Ricky Rubio obviously isn't here (although they have more than enough point guards).

Gasol Lopez
Love
Gallinari Beasley
Mayo Gordon
Rose Westbrook

Blair
Gibson Jerebko
Casspi
Evans Curry Harden
Jennings Flynn

rooks are going to get slaughtered. NBA may have to rethink the rookie/soph game soon.

At least its entertaining in a way. Watching teams score almost 300 points in 40 minutes.. I hope Love gets alot of burn and pulls close to 20 boards with 5 assists. :D

I wouldn't be surprised if the rookies beat the the sophomores in 2011. I know it's hard to predict who will make the cut, but it looks like the sophomores of 2011 will have their hands full next year.

Aldrich Monroe
Griffin Favors
Johnson Aminu
Turner Warren
Wall

I'm going to trust my gut and pass on Flynn. I'm sticking with Love for +/-

I smell upset, Taj Gibson is a good defender and Love can't pwn him inside, likewise Blair is gonna feast on Gasol/Lopez.

For the record, the sophomores have won all but one game (when LBJ & Co. were rooks).

Love has a good chance at a triple double. You could say he is both the best passer and rebounder on his team.

No no no. The rookie challenge is great! It's a HUGE accomplishment if the rooks ever win and it lets the young players be a part of all-star weekend at least once. Also it goes along great with the celebrity game.

it used to be West vs East rooks before so there still would be a lot young players participating in the ASW.

oh and finally some Wolves players during ASW again.

I see a couple problems with the format of the game. First, sophs are going to always have an advantage in this game unless there is a very special rookie class. The sophs have more experience.
Second, draft classes aren't always evenly dispersed by position. This year is a perfect example with all the PGs.

You could still have the same players in the game, just mix the rookies and sophomores and do an East v. West game or something. IDK what the best option is but if the sophs win this year it will be, what, 9 years in a row? In 07 the rooks lost by like 40 points or something. I can't imagine Stern being happy with that forever.

Blake Griffin's injury really decimated the front line of the rookie team this year.

Anyone see the LeBron comment on Jonny's page? "He is a really good friend of mine." LeBron to the WOLVES next year.
