Why do people still coming up with trades that include jefferson. Kahn clearly stated he will not trade jefferson this season.

Because we have nothing better to do.

Contrary to what J2J told you, we're not saving teh kittens and teh puppies.

Btw, don't subscribe to his beach swimsuit edition newsletter. It's not bad quality, but you'll notice he's really just taking pictures secretly while ducking behind a trash can.

I loved Harden before the draft. Now, not so much. He's undersized and not athletic. Deng is overpaid and too risky. Hell naw to this trade.

I think it comes down to whether people see Deng as a good player on an OK contract, or on a bad contract. I am the latter, so I'd keep Al, but its a very well-designed trade.

Bah, forget the kittens, we got microwaves for them. But I like zee puppehs!
And taking pictures while hiding behind a trash can saves on modeling fees. Cost containment so I can pass the savings on to you.

How about:
MN Gives: Cardinal & Gomes
MN Gets: Deng & Chicago 1st 2010
Boston Gives: Ray Allen & 1st 2010
Bostson Gets: Gomes, Salmons, and Hinrich
Chicago Gives: Deng, Salmons, Hinrich, and 1st 2010
Chicago Gets: Ray Allen, Brian Cardinal, and Boston 1st 2010
A variation of the principles in this was on Rube Chat.
Boston: Improves their bench dramatically
Chicago: Can still compete with Allen this year, but clears major cap space.
If we're worried about our future space under the cap, we could include Sessions to the Bulls for Pargo's expiring. If someone wants to do the math I think we'd only have $5 million less in cap space than if we didn't make any trade and kept Gomes and Sessions. Plus the downgrade in backup PG from Sessions to Pargo would still keep us strong in the ping pong ball hunt.

I can't see Boston doing that.

Not interested,
I wouldn't mind Harden, but Deng is a for sure deal breaker... Deng isn't worth an expiring to Minnesota, he's paid too much for Minnesota to take him in (he's earning his money right now, but IMO he's way too inconsistent to pay that kind of money for).

I'd deal for Harden and Deng if we were offering expirings but for Al Jefferson is a joke.
