I think the WAS-DAL trade saves the wizards $2.46 mil, and they needed to clear about $4.8 mil to get under the lux (with the suspensions), so they only need about $2.34 mil. If the DAL TPE is in place, you're closer, but I question why this deal wasn't done simultaneously if it exists.

Anyway, $2.34 shouldn't be hard to clear in an exchange of expirings. I'll even leave you with Mike Miller:

Im not hatin it. I dont think WAS trades away Howard just for that, but then again WAS could do anything.

I expect Kahn to do something like this before the deadline. Some trade where we receive $3 million and both teams end up saving money.

How would this go down from a roster spot perspective for Washington? They were at 15 before the Caron/JHo deal, traded 3 for 4 in that one and now trade 2 for 4.

I would consider bringing back Howard depending on how he plays out the rest of the season for much less than he is currently being payed next year, if he was willing to stay here for much less, though this is terribly unlikely to happen

Gosh it's been so long since I have taken Josh Howard seriously. I can't even think of what he does well anymore.

I guess I would do this. But u know how short a leash Flynn has? Used by Rambis cuz they are disciplining him and teaching him what they need. Josh would get a SHORTER leash, because I'll be trading him sooo fast if he messes up, and if I have control over where he goes (pretend I'm Kahn for a second), I'll send him to a team that where he will get a 10th man role.

He's not nuts, just slightly immature and a bad influence for the pups. He threw party after a playoff (finals?) loss. He's been caught with his hand in the weed jar a few times too.

No offence, but I don't see the point. Howard isn't staying with the team long term so any improvements he makes to the team will only hurt them later on. As for the rest there isn't much incentive for Minnesota. It's just saving little amounts of money (by NBA standards) for no point.

I would assume Howard is not an option. He is bat shi.t crazy.

I know! right? Howard was older when he came into the league. I heard about this guy, Ndudi Ebi he is still like 25, we could give him a flier, i hear good things about his game, like a KG Jr. He shut down Lebron, Sweetney and Lampe in the combine scrimages, he's like a can't miss player.
