Yes, I know we have a game before this, but I thought it would be good to put this information out there now.

Minnesota is doing something out of control during this Sunday's broadcast of the Thunder game.

It's like an internet-savvy fans' dream. First, the broadcast is commercial free. Instead of advertisements, they promise behind-the-scenes footage, and other fun stuff. Can you imagine that!

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced that the team and Verizon have partnered to provide Wolves fans with a commercial free broadcast of the Timberwolves vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game this Sunday (Feb. 21) at 6 p.m. on KSTC-TV Channel 45. Not only will this be the first-ever Wolves commercial-free broadcast, but it will also be a first-of-its-kind, live fan-interactive broadcast featuring unprecedented fan involvement via various media and social networking platforms.

Throughout the game, timberwolves.com will host "Fan Forum" - live web chats in which Minnesota fans will have the ability to ask questions to Wolves owner Glen Taylor and President of Basketball Operations David Kahn. Both will share their thoughts on the current season as well as what they see for the club in the future. Fans should log on to timberwolves.com to participate in the chats, which will be integrated into the broadcast.

Wow that's really great. I already like what FSN did by barely having commercials and having an in-depth halftime show. I just wish they were still giving away HDTV's. This sounds really cool though.

sounds cool. They should ditch the announcers too and mike up the Wolves bench. I want to hear what goes on during a game

I won't be able to watch the game.. can someone PLEASE ask about Anthony Randolph. I have no idea if Kahn will answer anything about specific players.. but it's worth a shot.

Kahn can't talk about specific players on other teams, or draft prospects. It's against the rules.

Newcomer Darko Milicic participated in his first full practice Saturday after being acquired from New York in Wednesday's trade for Brian Cardinal. Rambis said it's possible Milicic could play some tonight against Oklahoma City. He hasn't played since Nov. 13.

"We'll find out," Rambis said. "We'll see how he feels tomorrow. It's really clear he understands the game. He picked up stuff really easy today. He's in very poor condition right now to play basketball. That's something he'll have to push himself through."

Well I wouldn't mind him cutting into Hollins' minutes a little bit, and then taking all of Gomes minutes at the pf spot.

I'd laugh if we stopped Durant's 25-point streak.....(scored 31 in first game)

From JerryZ's twitter:

Darko says he will play tonight for #Timberwolves tonite. How much is the question.

Hope you don´t mind me crashing here for a few weeks ;)
Haven´t posted much on realgm the last few months as my interest in the NBA has dwindled a bit as well as available free time.
But might drop by every now and then when i have the time to catch a Timberwolves game since i´ve long been following Milicic, as far back as when he was still playing in Europe and was really active on the Pistons board and later on the Magic board during his tenure there.

Not holding my breath anymore and was actually looking forward to seeing him back in Europe, but somewhere deep down still have hope he works out in the NBA.
Kid was spectacular as a 17 year old over here when i happened to see him during a trip through eastern europe with a scout... Showed great flashes in Orlando, then things went terribly wrong.

wouldn't mind if Darko regained his Orlando form, he looked like a nice defensive center for a short while there

As it is almost tradition (well, my tradition ;) ), here´s a highlight mix i did right after his first couple Orlando games showcasing the raw abilities he´s allways had : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6Y7WtlRjVM

gotten much more bulky since then and i never thought that that would be a good idea...

I wonder how Al's knees are feeling. If we are going to have to sit him I 'd rather do it now and have him finish the season strong instead of benching him for the last two or three weeks and have him go out with a whimper.
