Rotation???
So what do you speculate the rotation will be with the addition of Darko? It's been mentioned that Kahn wants Darko to have a chance. So i wonder where he'll fit.

I bet he'll start out taking all of Ja-why(?)s minutes and if he performs well, he'll dip into Hollins' minutes too.

Re: Rotation???
I could see him getting 20 minutes a game.
32 for Jefferson. 30 for Love. That leave 34 minutes for Hollins/Darko to split up. I he plays well, he has a chance to get up to 25-30 minutes for a few games.

Jawai?
But I agree. I don't think he'll just be given a lot of minutes straight up but if he performs then he could definitely start earning some big minutes.

Re: Rotation???
I hate to say this, but i have a slight fear that Darko could be a 8itch about all of this. He has been wanting a buyout so he could go back to Europe. It's been reported that there's already been a $10+mil offer. He's also mentioned that he wanted to be released (since he is getting no burn at all) to spend time with his newborn. Now all of this was said after he got permanently benched in NY, and had resigned to the fact that the NBA just didn't want him, and he would not play another single minute for the remainder of this season.
I only bring this up as a slight possibility (and really, what the hell do i know). He's always just wanted to play a significant role, and if he gets to play then my fears would be meaningless.

Lol, apparently my joke about my opinion of Jawai gets lost in translation. Perhaps it would help to call him Ja-why-o-why...

I hope he takes Hollins minutes, and that Hollins takes Jawai/stewie's minutes.

He won't play until he learns the offense. His minutes will be up to him once he does, he's already better than all of our bigs not named Al or Kevin.

Re: Rotation???
he won't have time to learn the offense. and 20 min isn't enough time to get a good look at him. i say play him 35 min a game until he either drops or fouls out. one good thing about darko he's going to raise jeffersons and love's game to another level. if he comes here and gets 10 min a game. get ready for him to lose interest right away. he's tired of being lied to about being given a chance.
play him 30 - 25 min and he'll be a beast and maybe resign. he just wants to play.

Big men play a huge role in our offense. Rambis won't just throw Darko in there if he doesn't know where he should be.

So he should get more minutes than anyone on our team?

I feel Darko is this years Shelden Williams. I dont see him playing a lot, consistently. If he does, great, I dont even think he wants to be here honestly

Re: Rotation???
Kahn said at the game yesterday that he was going to meet him in NY today. It will be interesting to see what he has to say about that encounter.

Darko wouldn't last 35 min.
35 min = starter minutes. I doubt he was calling for Darko to get exactly 35 min.. He is just saying play him as much as he can handle.

I know, just saying.....
Jefferson is currently averaging 33 minutes a game.

Re: Rotation???
There isn't a whole lot of season left for this little experiment, so we should just play him as much as possible. The minutes are there if he can handle them:
Cardinal played about every other game and averaged about 10 mpg = 5mpg
Blount plays about every other game for ~ 10 mpg = 5mpg
Ja-why doen't need to provide comic relief and plays about 11 mpg
So Darko can get 20 mpg without breaking a sweat. Our "good" center Hollins is off the charts with about 6ppg, 2.5rpg, and .5bpg. If Darko is still in shape, he can easily outperform Hollins as well who plays about 18 mpg.
Darko should just be played as heavily as he can manage because it will prove we're committed and let us see if we have anything. I think worst case he's Hollins with more blocks and boards. Ok, so the worst case is actually he asks who these Minnesotan spitheads think they are, and tells us to suck his cockerspaniel because he's going to puck our mummys in the mouth, but I'm optimistic.
