Here is the correct link:

http://www4.co.hennepin.mn.us/webbookin ... 2010005300

It appears to be him. The birthday is correct and googling for "Al Ricardo Jefferson" seems to indicate that that is his middle name.

No wonder he plays like crap lately if he drives drunk through the city at 2 am.

I don't know what I'm more upset about. That he was drunk driving, or that he is only 6'9

Getting a DWI with the team that has Malik Sealy's jersey hanging in the arena.

Can we officially call Al Jefferson the Anti-KG? No defense, great post play, and gets a DWI (Remember how traumatized KG was when his friend, his mentor growing up, got killed by a drunk driver coming home from his b-day party).

I know people make mistakes, people screw up and are granted mercy, but there are some things that the reparation needs to be severe to heal the wounds. I worry that Al jefferson might have destroyed any chance of the MN fanbase supporting him.

It'll be interesting to see how Kahn and the rest of the FO brass handle this PR-wise. I'm guessing we might see a presser as soon as tomorrow.

It' still suspicion of DUI from what I can tell. Still waiting or the blood test results.

Still, Al is only a 25 year old man and 25 year old's make mistakes. It's disappointing, but he doesn't deserve to be burned at the stake either. Hopefully, this will be a low point for him that motivates him to rebound and work even harder this summer.

This could help Love get into the starting rotation. I'd prefer Love starting anyways, but this will help serve as an excuse. As a pro athlete Jefferson has the money to get a taxi. There's no excuse for what he did.

I had this same idea when Jared Allen arrived in MN. They could easily get a friend to stay sober to drive them home. Just being around a pro athlete will get you some action. Hell, I'll do it if they they'd let me

Lol. Putting Jefferson out of the starting line-up would be the worst thing to do.

He would immediately lose half of his value around the league and we're stuck with a 13mil/year if he doesn't return to old form.

I'm more worried about the assists than rebounds, but I see your point.

If it ends up in court he is in trouble, because we know he struggles with defense.

I hate people that do that crap..

Its so stupid and what if he killed someone? Its unforgiveable in my eyes. Ive had a few friends die to drunk driver and they did nothing wrong driving was deserve it..

In my opinion anyone that does that crap should serve jail time..

Driving and the NBA is a privilege for Al. not a right.

Wow, I bet after the loss he was like "***** it! I'm getting SMASHED!" Man oh man, this has to now officially be his worst season ever. He will look back on this season and be like, "Man, those were some bad bad bad times. :nonono:" And LOL @ Ricardo, when I see Al I don' think Ricardo. I already knew these guys were mentally shot, I hope nothing else goes wrong. David Kahn was talking about how wound up Al has been and he thinks it's because he was worried about getting traded at he deadline.

That may be apart of it but if I know Al I think a lot more of it has to do with his game. You can see it on his face how frustrated he is that he can't dominate out there this season. I think its burning him up inside. Not that I am jumping to conclusions or anything but I would really hope he doesn't start down this path. Maybe he reads the online stuff, he should stay away. It's not going to make him feel good at this point and time.

I understand your point, but I have to say I'm more of the Adam Carolla theory where the effects of a .08 in person A may be radically different from a .08 in person B. So yes, as a rule its a good rule, but technically, just because he was over the limit doesn't mean he was endangering people's lives. Its tough ground to tread on, but its undeniable that DUI statute is a lowest common denominator law thats designed to make sure that it accounts for that select group of retards more than the majority of the population.

I"m just saying that Big Al doesn't strike me as the kind of guy driving around **** faced swerving into parked cars.

Lt. Eric Roeske told multiple media outlets Jefferson was pulled over after being clocked at driving 56 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone. The arresting trooper also saw Jefferson change lanes without signaling and his car drifted to the left, with his tires crossing the outer line.
