Man it was hilarious. They were talking about how the Mavs sat Jason Kid and how some wolves players said it was disrespectful. The other guy (can't remember his name, it was a guest host) started talking mess about the wolves scrub status. It went roughly like this.

Guest Host:"Nobody knows the Timberwolves! Besides Jefferson, nobody can name a player!"

Wilborn: "Kevin Love."

GH: "And Love, that's it!"

W: "Corey Brewer."

GH: "You can't name another one!"

W: "Gomes! Don't play this game with me."

*They talk about something else*

GH: "What's his first name?"

W: *Finishes up his statement about other subject* "Ryan"


Then between every new discussion the guest host kept randomly asking him to name players. Wilborn would finish the discussion and just bust names out like nothing. It was really funny.

GH: "Who is the head caoch!?"

W: "Kurt Rambis."

GH: "You can't name an assistant coach!"

W: "Theus and Laimbeer, how about that?"

GH: "Name the scouting staff!"

After that everyone just laughed it off because the guy was getting ridiculous. The show was also about to end. Then they say their final goodbyes.

GH: "I'd like to give a shout out to blah blah blag"

W: "And I will give a shout out to Minnesota Timberwolves advanced scout Brent Haskins!"

*As credits roll you hear*

GH: "Name the name of a fan!"

I caught that whole back and forth, pretty hilarious. What was not hilarious is that Dan Lebatard (guest host) who frequently is on this show probably really couldnt name a 2nd T'Wolves player. A professional NBA team. That is unfortunate

seriously, what was his point anyways - when did it become cool for a national sports media member to not know anything about sports? Is it supposed to be impressive to only know about the Cavs and Lakers? There's lots of average players on terrible teams out there, but if you don't know who Gomes is and that he plays for the Wolves and that his first name is Ryan, then all that means is that I need to stop listening to your opinions on basketball immediately.
