They thought three teams can have a much improved season next year.
Clippers
Kings
Nets
Looks like the wolves are screwed again next year. *sigh* It's never our time.

When they previewed that segment before the break, I KNEW we wouldn't be included.

I think the Clippers desperately need a name change. The Clippers have only been above .500 3 times since the 84/85 season (their best being .573). Before that they were the San Diego Clippers who didn't fare any better. It's like a magic eraser for their past, so they can start over. I mean Arsenal, Claymores, Guardians, or Admirals all sound cooler. I wanted to say Galaxy, but the LA soccer team is called that.

LA Humidity?
LA Muniz?
So far the LA Lite wins.
As for those mentioned by leggler, lets keep in mind he basically implied that the Nets would have John Wall so. Really is sort of pointless to speculate on until the offseason moves are made.

What is the point of talking about what teams will be most improved next season when THIS SEASON ISN'T EVEN FINISHED?
I understand ESPN exists largely to talk about sports instead of showing them (except for college, of course) but still...

"LA Lite" is a nice reference to their status with the lakers in the same town too.

Wow - if we're not going to improve, does that mean we stay 29, or do we sink to 30?
Keep in mind ESPN is a product, and wants to sell to the most viewers. NJ will be coming to New York, and LAC is in Los Angeles - the two biggest media markets in the country.

Well, NJ and LAC have much simpler fixes than our Wolves. Both have room to attract a max free agent, NJ has two. NJ will have a top 3 pick. The Clippers get Blake Griffin who was compared to Amare and another top 10 pick of their own, not to mention an actual coach to replace Mike Dunleavy.
What would you rather have?
$12M in cap space + top 5 pick + Mid first + late first + returning coach
$35M in cap space + top 4 pick + replacing a coach with no coaching experience
$18M in cap space + #1 pick (Griffin) + top 10 pick + replacing Mike Dunleavy
I can't gripe with ESPN on this one.
