Couldn't ask for a better start. Stole home ice and got everyone involved which should boost confidence for everybody. Hopefully the goal Nash scored gets him going bc we are not gonna be putting up 7 every game.

What a GAME! 7-2 in hockey is on par with 12-1 in MLB.

If the Rangers win the Stanley cup it's like the Knicks winning a championship :o

The Rangers bathed in the water fall known as 'Sidney Crosby's Tear Ducts'. They came out with a purpose and didnt let off the gas for 3 periods. Great f***in hockey. My post game impression:

The Habs were not ready for what the Rangers brought to the table.

Having Hank come in and quell all the talk of him being ineffective in Montreal was great too.

7 goal 7 different players. One of them being the recently M.I.A Rick Nash who put in his first of the playoffs.

Brad Richards is trying to make the Rangers think twice before they buy him out...which is innevitable at this point so Rangers fans...enjoy Richards this may be his last season in Blue.

Kreider.Kreider.Kreider. Man were we missing this kid. He is too quick and strong for 99% of the leagues D men. Young kid with a great future.

St Louis putting in that first goal was another great chapter to the whole story line surrounding him.

We lost our 1st round pick through the MSL trade by advancing to the ECF but man it looks like it is worth it.

Woohoo looking good for the Rangers gotta come out with a hunger in game 2 as well. Too often you go into the game saying one of two games on the road is a success. Gotta want the game more than they do. If you come back home after win both on the road the series is as good as over 8-)

sick start to the series...only thing I can ask more is if I was in Montreal getting turnt up at their well known strip clubs, and then later going to the game, and then after the game going back to those well known strip clubs

How come "meddling Dolan" and the "toxic MSG atmosphere" aren't affecting the Rangers in the playoffs?

Because he doesn't know squat about hockey.

Now basketball on the other hand, Dolan THINKS he knows about basketball. Prerequisite for meddling

Like 7 years ago he came to a similar agreement with Sather that he did with Phil if I'm not mistaken. People actually hated him because he didn't fire Sather but it's all worked out in the long run. Hopefully it doesn't take as long with Phil but it's a good sign if he can do the same with Phil.

The Rangers are playing with house money game 2...the pressure is all on Montreal now and I think it's gonna be up to Hank to have another killer game if we want this one. I can't see a second domination in a row.
