Been a great season. Time for another serious playoff push. Best team, record-wise in the league. So many great moments this season. WE WANT THE CUP!

Game 1 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at 7pm! Where's my Rangers fans at?!

this is our chance

i havent had the feeling of being a fan of powerhouse contender team in a long ass time (giants were wildcards)

best part about it is that it's a bright spot not only for the rags, but also for the knicks. after dolan took over, the rangers also went into a dark age due to dolan's transgressions. but in 2005 Dolan finally backed off and allowed Sather to rebuild the rangers with intelligent management. Since then the rangers have been a deep team making the playoffs every year. Last year we got to the stanley cup finals. and this year we are entering the playoffs as the actual #1 seed in the league. I hope this is a model of what is to come from Dolan backing off and letting an expert of the sport (phil) return the franchise to glory.

the rangers, giants, yankees, etc can win all the championships they want and we love them for it, but we all know that what new york really wants is the knicks bringing in #3 and beyond

Rangers doing work. First 2 games were each team taking turns, feeling each other out. Then the Rangers clamped down, playing their game, and using their strengths, namely defense to smother the Pens.

What's scary, Klein isn't even back yet.

Rangers look very good in the opening round. Get the feeling they'll face the Caps but the Isles would make the city explode.

Gotta love the depth on this team. They've got so many guys that can beat you and taking care of this series quickly is a really good sign for things to come.

The boys are looking great! 3rd and 4th lines win cups and we've got 2 OT GWG from our 3rd liners in the past two games. Hopefully Isles can squeak past the Caps because i'd rather play the Isles match up wise and would love to send them out of the Coliseum on a loss from the blueshirts. On to the next one! Hopefully Zuccy is OK. Going to be HUGE when we get Klein back for round 2 also.

My only real concern is Nash. We've got the deepest team in the league and there are any number of guys that can step up but eventually if you're going to win the cup your best goalscorer has to step up. Nash can't be invisible like last postseason or it will end badly again.

^ I just don't think he's a playoff type of player.

He's unwilling to crash the net. Most of his shots are bad angle/long distance.
