but if you have Chris Drury and Wade Redden, whose contracts are the equivalent of four Eddy Currys and Effries in Hockey than your just a .500 team.

The Rangers should could easily be the best team in Hockey but they were only able to sign 1 Max FA, this only after moving 1 big contract in Gomez and we couldn't sign anyone else. We signed that bum Brasher too but that was stupid

We could get lebron, but thats the only player we would be able to sign and than 1 player for the MLE and we'd end like the rangers this year

Don't worry about it, sooner or later Vincent LeCavalier will end up on the Rangers. Tampa doesn't want him and once we accept that Dubby will never be a 1st line center it will be easier to give up on him to get a quality center. Redden pretending to be a good player this season also makes it much easier to trade him. I'm sure he would love to play in Florida, I'm sure he can get better coke there then in NY.

U guys wait until Gabby gets hit by the injury bug again, he played for us about 40 games in the last 2 yrs.

This is why I'm happy to be an avalanche fan, although I do still miss Roy. We're building up a lot of young talent if Anderson can start standing on his head again between the pipes.

I think Wade Redden is the worst move we've made in a long time...and we've made some bad ones. Gaborik is great, but he needs some help...which we haven't provided consistently at all.

Redden and Rozival are cap killers and aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Its the reason we had to let so many solid role players go by the wayside because we just couldn't afford them. Mara, Sjostrom, Betts, Orr, etc.
