ya, that was a dirty hit. The part that got me was the follow through, it wasn't a case of a shorter player running into the elbow of a taller one, he actually took a swing with his arm and followed through. Maybe with pronger gone for a game, and ottawa still having the last change, they can finally get the spezza line going

It's pretty sad that one guy can shut down a whole top line.

That should have been a 5 minute major at most. Mccamond was trying to split the D Pronger had to take him down some way and its not his fault mccamond is smaller than him.

If you asked the Ducks fans & the SoCal media, they'd say HELL YES. They are worse here. 1 idiot from the L.A. times criticized the NHL for suspending Pronger for going Pronger on the red wings player. If they didn't, then people woulda been complaining there. NHL can be like the police sometimes-darned if they do, & darned if they don't. Game 4 some dumb little girl had a sign that read I love Chris Pronger. SoCals have a bad history of cheering & worshipping players & sports teams you HAVE 2 HATE . They cheer a thug like Pronger[who's been a thug in ST. Louis also] but boo Alfreddson.
There's a difference between being physical & being dirty but Anaheim is dirty. The media here brainwashes everyone that Anaheim is physical. And when Pronger got suspended again, they said that the Ducks should NOT stop the thuggery. More fools that just don't get it . They would lose games because of their thuggery/stupid penalties.

Probably the same fools who thought Bertuzzi should be in jail, but he isn't the repeat offender Pronger is. Heck if this was a team not named the Ducks or Kings, the Hypocritical Homer SoCal media woulda been calling this team criminals & saying Pronger should be in jail.
