This is a big game. Pens gotta win to stay in the race for the division and/or 4th place in the conference. I have a feeling they are going to play a lot better after that pathetic performance against Buffalo.

Should be a great series. I think this might be one of the best series in the playoffs. The teams have played some great, up and down physical games the past 3 with the Pens being on top on all 3
Game 1: Sens 6 Pens 3 (Crosby Staal Gonchar)
Game 2: April 14th, 3:00pm NBC
Game 3: April 15th, 6:00pm FSN (I'll be there sitting in Section B5)
Game 4: April 17th, 7:00pm FSN Pittsburgh
*Game 5: April 19th, 7:00pm FSN Pittsburgh
*Game 6: April 22nd, 1:00pm NBC (Will be at this game if it gets this far)
*Game 7: April 24th, 7:00pm FSN Pittsburgh

only 17 hours and 47 minutes to go until game 1. I can't wait. 5 freaking years I have been waiting for this. Having to watch 3 terrible seasons (Well 2. Last year wasn't so bad getting to watch Sid).

5 and a half hours. I can't wait.
Anyway, Sid is going to have 2 goals and 2 assists. Pens win 5-2. Roberts gets the other.

I dont blame them, the team is filled with youth who havent tasted the playoffs in their career. which makes them really nervous team. Just look at fleury hes giving up long rebounds. something he doesn't really do.

Well as of now their down 2-0 not going well as of your prediction. I say Ottawa 4-1.There too hard to handle. There always picking off passes getting rebounds, and just shooting the puck at the net each and every opportunity.

Wow. I think I was more pumped for the game then the team. Just looked too nervous. I hope they come out fired up on Saturday. Ottawa came out to play.

Here are my needs to fix for the Pens:
1. Play more physical hockey. The Senators just hit the Pens anytime they touched the puck. The only players I noticed being physical were Brooks Orpik, Ryan Malone and Jarkko Ruutu. Brooks got into a little scrum with Comrie after the first goal. He went after Heatly when Heatly cut Whitney. Malone put a few nice hits on some Sens. Ruutu only hit people at the end of the game because he was on the ice for maybe a minute before that period.
2. Change the lines. Malkin needs to be put with Sid. With Army and Roberts, it is much easier for Ottawa to just concentrate on Sid. With Malkin on his line, it adds much more scoring power, more speed and more pressure on Ottawa's defense. Put Recchi on the other side.
Line 2: Roberts-Staal-Eckman: Roberts is a man that will go to the net. Staal can't do anything playing with Talbot and Malone. I wanna see Eckman in there. He would be a nice addition to this line.
Line 3: Malone-Talbot-Army: I love this third line. They hit, they play along the boards tremendously and they have great chemistry together. Therrian continues to break this line apart. I love this line.
Line 4: Ruutu-Christensen-Ouellet: Ruutu, obvious reasons. Christensen because of his shot. Not good at the wing, so he is forced to play here. I like the way Ouellet is playing. He is one of the few Pens that hustled in Game 1.
Defense line 1: Gonchar and Eaton
Defense line 2: Whitney and Orpik
Defense line 3: Nasardine and Scuderi
PP1: Roberts-Sid-Christensen Gonchar and Recchi Here's why: Roberts goes to the net. Christensen has a great shot. Crosby can easily set up EC in the slot.
PP2: Staal-Malkin-Ouellet Whitney and Eaton/Orpik/Scuderi Here's why: Malkin needs his own PP line. And PP2 needs a good PP D-man. Ouellet is good in the slot. Staal in front of the net.
PK1: Talbot Army Gonchar Eaton
PK2: Staal Malone Orpik Scuderi
Goalie: MAF and MAF for the rest of the playoffs no matter what happens
3. Come out and dominate the game. If I see this piss poor effort again this series, I will be highly upset. Therrian should have Herb Brooks the team after the game.

These refs are pathetic. Apparently, Ottawa can do anything they want. Interfere, Cross Checks to the face, knee to knee attempts.

High stick to Talbots face. Nothing called. Go NHL refs
