Carolina Hurricanes' centre Eric Staal and younger brother, Pittsburgh Penguins' Jordan Staal, were among 14 people arrested in Cook County, Minnesota Monday after the elder Staal's bachelor party got out of hand.

I'd guess slap him with a fine and community service, and if the PR is getting bad, make him go to an AA meeting or something.

"We were recently made aware of the situation involving Jordan, have reached out to him and are continuing to gather information," Penguins general manager Ray Shero said in a statement yesterday.

"At this point, we all have to let the legal process play out. We will have no further comment at this time."

From Rick Curran, his agent:

"It's nothing," Curran said. "It's ridiculously nothing. Eric and Jordan and [their brother] Marc had gone to bed."
