Should be another good series, although I expect this one to go at least 6 games. Hasek is still at the top of his game despite being 78 years old. I prefered this over Anaheim. The Ducks have simply had our number this year.

Our PP is definately going to have to step it up this series.

Game 2: 4/28 12:00 PM on NBC

Time to eat some red wings.

There is no one in the playoffs who I'd rather have our team face right now. The epitome of older players in the NHL running into the Sharks, the youthful, physical team.... this is one matchup I defenitely like for us.

If we keep getting perfomances like that out of Nabby this series is a lock. I didn't like all the looks we were giving the Wings, but #20 was more than up to the challenge. Detroit's sloppy play didn't hurt either.

I'll be at the game Saturday. If we win I'll definately be watching my back as I return to my truck...if its still there.

Great win for us... I knew we could just flat out outskate the Wings. I'd love to see us put them in a 2-0 hole and then come out to the tank :D

Disappointing game today... we need to rebound at home.

I wish I had gone to game one instead of game two, but it was still an enjoyable experience. Definately a better hockey experience than Nashville, although the "post-game festivities" were much more enjoyable in Nashville. Anyways, here are a few pictures.

The definitely like their red in Detroit.

Things got off to a good start, beginning with the opening faceoff and up to the 2-0 lead.

Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there.

I was surprised, again, by all the empty seats.

Now as for game 3, I have to say I'm a little worried. Game two was a HUGE confidence boost for Detroit. We need to come out strong early before the Wings get too confident.

By taking one in Detroit, we definitely have the upper hand. But the way we lost game two took a little wind out of our sails.

Not exactly the start I was looking for.

EDIT: At least Nabby is keeping the crowd into it.

If you let the Sharks dominate the puck that long and they'll eat you alive. Big momentum shift.

Win or lose that was a great game to watch. Obviously, winning made it that much better. Cheechoo was going to get that game winning goal in no matter what to took.

Hasek didn't stand a chance on that one.

Not too many times do you get an assist from the opponents' helmet. Simply an odd goal.

Our second 2-0 lead blown this series. That just shifted all the momentum over to Detroit.

It's now a 3 game series. First time I've thought, "I don't like our odds" so far during the playoffs. Oh well, lets hope we can forget about this and come back strong at The Joe.

Man... talk about just having the Wings on the ropes and letting them come back. What a crushing defeat.

We have to Stop Blowing leads.

Guys like Marleau and Guerin have been MIA.

Ron Wilson seems pretty pissed.

Well, now Guerin will literally be MIA. He won't be in the lineup for game 5. That was a nasty puck to the face he took. Here's to Lil' Joe being put back in. We could use his energy.

The most frustrating thing about this series is if we play our game FOR A FULL 60 MINUTES the wings cannot hang with us.

Game 5, pretty much a must win.

Go Sharks!

Could the Sharks try any harder to give this series away?
