Man this would be huge. The guy is a complete stud. Of course we would need to dump Toskala for a decent backup Goalie and another stud somewhere. I could see Detroit being interested as insurance for the oft-injured Hasek.

Won't happen, Drury wants a big payday and the Sharks biggest weakness is on there blueline.

Both Hannan and Rivet are Free Agents and they need to atleast re-sign one of them.

They are going to let Hannah go. Rivet will be resigned he really clicked. The Sharks do need a bigtime scorer on the wing too besides Cheechoo. I would love for them to resign Hannah hes one of my favorites but I don't think it is happening. I would rather we sign Briere than Drury I like him a lot more, but I think Buffalo will hold onto Danny over Chris.

You mean Hannan right?

Anyways Drury would be a great fit for you guys, great leader and is very clutch. He'll fit in perfectly

If we find a taker for Bell, wave bye bye to Hannan, sign a cheap, hard-nosed defender and deal Toskala or Nabby... we can defenitely afford to sign Drury.

But I wouldnt bet on it...

Thats a lot of IF's reggae. Yeah meant Hannan not Hannah lol. I believe Nabby's 4.5 mil would be required to move, and nobody wants Bell. Did Vladimir Malakhov come off the books from that Devil's trade? Thats 3.6 off the books I believe.

The average NHL payroll is $41.6 million, and the 2006-07 salary cap is set at $44 million. The Sharks come in just under that figure with $43.4 million in payroll, including retired defenseman Vladimir Malakhov's $3.6 million salary.
