Why not just keep both KD and Irving and compete for a championship with Simmons, Curry, Harris, Mills, O'Neale, and company?

Is this doable? This course of action sure seems like a better approach than trading away KD, Irving and completely rebuilding the roster.

Durant is a moron thats why.

Nets have a Championship level roster and wants out.

If we bring those guys back the hemistry is so toxic I really doubt we can win anything. Or recruit any worthwhile FAs to Brooklyn.v

The Nets have set Durant's price as an All Star and 4 to 5 firsts. A rotation player as well.

No contending team wants to give that up because it defeats the purpose of for trading him.

I don't see much happening right now, but stranger things have happened.

Nets should not even consider getting less than Anthony Davis.

Which was Ingram, Ball, Hart, three first rounders and pick swaps I think.

Somebody better find a way to offer that value or KD can waste the year pouting in Brooklyn with his bf Kyrie.

I'll take Simmons/Harris/Oneal/Edwards/Claxton and actually enjoy watching it. **** them.

Yeah. Might as well let Kyrie's contract expire and we'll roll with who we have.

Durant isn't going to sit out.

An all star and 4-5 FRP is too much for a 34 year old coming off a weak playoff performance.

He may go to the team he wants, but it won’t be for that.

Rudy Gobert got traded for 5 first rounders and KD is 20x better than him. Your argument makes no sense.

100%. I really think KD has done us a solid by putting this out there on the first day of free agency.

Hes got 4 years left on his deal and he's in the discussion of all the all time greats of the NBA. He can't afford to sit out a season because of a trade request and the Nets have all the leverage, especially since KD plus Ben and the role players isn't a bad team even if Kyrie (fack him) doesnt suit up. KD simply will play even if he doesn't want to.

We need a haul for KD for the ages. If Gobert commanded 4 first round picks. KD needs 2 prime prospects + 4 first round picks, or you gotta give us 10 picks. guys like KD being available on trades just never happens and that's how we should approach it. Give us the godfather offer, or FK OFF

The way I predict it's gonna go is KD/Kai will be staying. Kyrie is as good as gone next year because there's no changing his mind. I pray Kyrie plays out this season and then go to L.A. and LeBron leaves LA next year to screw him over just how he's screwed over LeBron and every team he's been on. Karma is a bitch.

Kyrie has no place here. He should be told to stay away, bought out, or worst case scenario, waived.

Agreed, I think Marks/Tsai realize they are in the driver's seat.....Hopefully. Woj is the mouthpiece for Marks so whatever he is saying is what Marks is telling him. So not granting their request would be the best thing and karma for what has happened to this team the past three years.

TJ Warren is another great add by Marks. Another wing we need.

We need to resign Kess too and its been a solid off season so far.

KD is an idiot for throwing this away. The team is completely solid.

Its starting to feel like Toronto won't add Barnes.

KD obviously doesn't want to play in Canada. And I think Toronto fears KD playing out the year and asking out again.

If so, I have no interest in doing business with them.

Which bring me back to Boston/New Orleans. Or simply waiting it out.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
