This is also an example of one of the scarier downsides of keeping KD and Kyrie on the roster to start the season. Instead of humbling Cam, who was already known to have this sort of attitude, they seem to have been encouraging this behavior in him. Its fine to be confident in your ability of course, but as a second year player you just don't show up your coach like this no matter how good or bad he might be. Especially when your game is so one-dimensional.
TBH I just rather see KD, Kyrie, and Nash all out of here. If you can throw in Cam in one of the deals or in a separate deal for a first round pick as has been reported then cool. But we really need to get rid of this toxicity that is surrounding the team and get a developmental coach to get the best out of whatever young players remain and may come over the next few seasons.

Again, I have no clue what kind of basketball you all are watching.
Another example of why this franchise is in a **** hole. Nash is the worst coach in the league but preaching passing to guys who don’t have teammates to pass too. The roster isn’t in any position for him but the immediate need to score.
He doesn’t need any humbling. This weird ass perception from nets fans of this franchise needs humbling. Trading him for a random 1st adds what value? He’s always challenged KD OR Harden. He’s got a very high confidence level after being around THREE TOP SCORING HOF talents in his rookie year and also had 20 point scoring stretch in the league when we had no KD, Kyrie or Harden. Wow. Shocking.

Cam has got to improve his 3 point shot, because being an inefficient long two shooter that doesn't defend is not going to cut it.
To me, the only young guys that crack the rotation as constituted is Sharpe and Edwards. I can't see Cam playing ahead of Seth or Mills.

Luckily he still has plenty of time to improve. He showed an improvement in playmaking and was doing a better job of playing passing lanes on defense. He's actually solid at rebounding as well.
Honestly think DDJ has a better shot at playing right now vs Cam.
