It's been three games in and so far:
1st game: We got destroyed
2nd game: Close game, won by a Royce game winner
3rd game: Close for the most part, but we lost by ten
Have you enjoyed yourself, or have you found yourself highly entertained during any of these games?
I have to be brutally honest. Last night vs Memphis I found myself questioning why I was continuing to watch, and i ended up turning the game off early because the game was making me miserable. Felt that way in the season opener, and the Raptors game I found myself to be annoyed.
I dunno if its the mix of horrible coaching and what transpired last season and over the summer, but this team has me feeling like following them is more of a chore than an enjoyable escape.
No I am not. Can only speak for me, but I can't as a fan or a person go through what i went through with this roster and organizational response to be like nothing happened.
The dynamic of Kyrie and Durant isn't what its worth. KD's spotlight wouldn't have existed if it weren't for Kyrie's negative influence and by Nash's incompetency. He's a great player and hasn't done anything to lose that image. He has his faults and weaknesses sure.
Looking at the roster, there isn't much for me to cheer on. No youth players are worth my attention, no young players are played(sharpe is by default). I truly only like Royce, who's been here for 2 mintues, Claxton and... yea that's it.
I ain't behind the rest of these clowns. Even I can get "wth KD" at times... Kyrie is a leper in a black hole for me, Ben... talks and that's it. Sorry but I'm done with joe Harris, call me a bad guy there, Never really hooray for Seth, Claxton working his butt off so its ok, Cam Thomas ain't doing sh*t and won't grow learning behind KD, KY n Nash, nothing else for me to really be cheering on.
This ain't a team, it's an assembly of individual players playing a system for individuality, no cohesion, no kill for one another vibes. Compromising offense that's blatantly on the core of talent alone, so if someone goes down, there's no next man up cuz there aint a system to keep the boat afloat. Defense is never happening under these players and coaches. No fighters wearing my Nets jerseys, such divas who play for themselves. No direction anymore after the deconstructing of the Brooklyn Grit, it's serve Kevin's wants, tolerate Kyrie and his cancerous spew, Ben is Ben.... throw in that the Franchise misleading of what's going on via health, injuries or promises last season was a clear direct manipulation of the fanbase to keep buying and buying rather than face the truth. We were led lies.
Playoff performances by quitters was an embarrassment, enough said there.
Steve Nash, bless his kind soul, is a horrible coach who's been giving more slack on the leash as the games progress, he's done nothing to deserve this protective shell. The basketball play of Brooklyn is weak AF and only serves to the interest of KD n Kyrie. We don't practice hard enough anymore for them, we don't really employ team basketball concepts, we don't execute anything consistently and we lack desire to win for Brooklyn.
Future is bleak, no picks to have, gave away guys who cared and played hard, constant changing, why stick to a face when you know they're out.
Gimme a reason to root for them.
