Word on the street is Simmons is being shopped and dangled for a veteran sharpshooter out West. I hope Nets just get rid of him and move on from him. He still looks afraid, and Nets are not going to win with him being passive and scared.

Where are you hearing this and who are the rumored targets?

No names mentioned, Begley reported it. Even Kyrie's name was dangled and two western conference teams have interest, one most certainly being the Lakers and the other, I don't know. I would love to do a Paul George-Kyrie Irving straight swap. We get bigger, similar offense and better defense.

That’s never happening.

I’m honestly struggling to come up with a team that would give up anything solid for Kyrie outside Minnesota, or either LA team.

And Minny would have to be desperate and honestly, is Russell even solid?

Clippers would maybe give up Powell and Mann? Or is Kennard the, “Western sharpshooter?”

Lakers Westbrook and one 1st for Kyrie and Curry or Mills?

And these probably would be a month down the line or so if they even happened.

DLo is having a horrible shooting season, and it's questionable how much he's developed over the years.
From what I've read, Twolves fans are disappointed in him as a PG in general.

I'm thinking Kyrie could be traded down the road if he says and does the right things. Some team desperate for more firepower to get them over the hump may be willing to trade approaching the deadline. Three months can be a long time.

What was the reasoning behind the firing of Kenny Atkinson?

The Nets had progressively improved its record during Atkinson's tenure coaching the team.

Did Marks ever give an explanation?

Lastly, Marks constructed this Nets roster and had hired both Atkinson and Nash. Do Nets fans really believe that a full tear-down and rebuild are what the team needs to do, and is Marks the best person to lead this task?

Kyrie, DeAndre Jordan & Dinwiddie were complaining about a lack of defined pecking order under Kenny, who prioritized ball movement. Tsai met directly with the players to talk about Kenny, which is something that should never happen, save for the truly elite stars like KD.

How did the team go from disliking unselfish ball movement to trying to hire Ime Udoka?
