I will have to watch the replay, i fell asleep. Guarantee this man's money already

Also, Ben is starting to gain some steam.

Yuta needs a raise.

Imagine being around this dramatic team and still playing hard and with joy every single night

The guy has a great attitude and KD likes him a lot from what I've seen.

But yeah, while he isn't going to maintain this shooting percentage, he is looking like someone who is way more talented than a vet min player.

Hello Brooklyn wrote:Simmons hate was so stupid.

He played like 5 bad games and you all were ready to trade him.

He will keep getting better. Wait till mid season and he will be back to all star form.

Ben looks a lot more comfortable right now with himself, he's not looking like he's afraid to catch the ball near the rim anymore. Strong finishes, and playing his style of play without second guessing himself.

When he is pushing the tempo, assisting, rebounding and finishing he makes everyone around him better.

Lots of positives from last game, which y'all have already mentioned.

Also wanted to say that JV coached a good game last night. He might not be an elite HC like Spo etc but he's light years better than Nash. He has a good feel on the game and his energy on the sidelines really helps the team particularly on the defensive end. He also has been great with timeouts but also holding the players accountable for their play(not just clapping).

3 man lineups with Ben-KD-Yuta needs to get a many mins as possible. The length, switchability, effort and IQ those 3 provide make it super hard for perimeter oriented teams to thrive. In a small sample of 44 mins, that 3 man lineup is: OFR :123 DFR: 108.8 NET: 14.3
Pair those 2 shooters(Royce, Curry, Joe, KI) and it provides great balance on both ends.

If the team can get a solid big that could deal with bigger bruiser types, the Nets would be a much more serious contender.

While there's a sign in them bringing Kyrie back, they still are chasing championship and Ben affirmed this as well in his press conference last night; pay attention to next month because names are becoming available and Nets won't stand pat if it means getting over the hump. The Nets-Spurs connection with the staff could benefit the Nets getting another player from there, Collins has now become available from Atlanta as well. I expect Marks to be active and expect the roster be rounded out by March, the team you see now will most likely be upgraded.

The eye test did show that KD/Ben/Yuta together was very effective and it's good to see the numbers reflect that, I also see Clax being interchangeable with Ben and TJ Warren whenever he returns being interchangeable with Yuta. Not exactly the same players but interchangeable as it is keeps us big and mobile.

Once Kyrie returns I'd be interested in seeing this unit

KD
Royce
Yuta
Kyrie
Ben

On paper I think that's our potential death lineup, there is only 1 non shooter in Ben and only 1 guy who is not switchable on defense in Kyrie.
