Simmons has been the best player on the team since the Kings debacle. The ball moves so much better when he's out there.

Marks didn't even offer him a contract and everything I've seen from Bruce says to me he's glad to be away from this toxic mess. Dude is hitting 40% from downtown, so his shooting improvement wasn't a fluke.

I'm happy for him. He worked hard.

He did. I just think the idea of trading for Royce was he was a better player defensively but I don’t think his loss is immense. I’d rather have Yuta than Brown, and I’m excited to see what Warren could do for this team because he will get his buckets

Royce has been an A+ addition.

It worked out for both parties imo.

Terrible move not to even offer Bruce a contract. There were times in our last 2 seasons where he was out 2nd best player for stretches.

I get he has size and shooting issues, but he has one trait that is uncommon in players, he comes back better every season. If you have a guy like that you keep him period. No surprise he's further improving his 3 point shot this season. 6m a year is deep bench player money and we'd be laughing to have Bruce on our second unit.

Bruce is going to get paid this summer. Multi tool player that cab defend and hit 3s at an above average clip? Teams will be knocking on his door.

This is what I like to see.

We need Yuta back. I love Joe, but only one of he, Patty, and Seth need to play. Yuta, Morris, Sumner should be rotation players. Marks needs to sign a free agent center for rebounding help.

Claxton
Durant
O'Neale
Irving
Simmons

Morris
Yuta
Seth
Summer

Harris seems to have fallen off; do we get rid of him
while we can or what? What I can tell you as per Scoop, there are rumblings of an Irving/Davis trade… but they are just that. I honestly would welcome Kyrie/Harris/first round pick for AD/Westbrook. Westbrook has improved off the bench and he can play a bench role here. Davis would be perfect next to Simmons/KD and we’d have a triple tower trio.

I caught the game this morning. Happy that we bounced back. So far I like the fact that Vaughn utilizes the roster and isn’t stuck on a specific rotation.

What worked was getting Sumner and Morris some burn as well. Throwing in different players at different times that the opposition hasn’t seen throws teams off their schemes. Anyone can guard a three guard undersized lineup hence Vaughn stopped in its tracks in the second quarter. Mill, Kyrie and Curry have no business being on the floor all at once: Kyrie, Oneale, Morris, KD, Simmons is a rotation which will give the opposition trouble. Also, Sumner makes a huge difference defensively for this team, he should be getting minutes over Patty.

Good win. Simmons looked sprightly and Kyrie was dominant in the 3rd.

Simmons is starting to look like an all nba defender again. I wonder what the plan is when the Embiids and Jokics come into town. Probably not the first to say this, but nets need a stretch 5 desperately and i'd be giving up Claxton + to get it.

Claxton is more valuable than a stretch 5 would be.

Don't think people realize just how good he's been.

Claxton is posting 12/8/2blks and converting FGs at 72%. He's absolutely a keeper. We just need a big body that can help against teams that have size

Not one of those teams contender. Unless you think Denver coming out of WC.

Nic held his own and than some more vs Biid last year, I doubt this year will be any different. Morris is legit back up and actually brings that extra ragid toughness.

What we really need is, Joe and Seth to become Joe and Seth of the years past.

Not that I'm against bringing another stretch five like Olynik. Turner playing himself into max or near max contract right now, he's a pipe dream.

I would like to remind everyone about Isaac trade. From what it looks like, he started some activities. I'd love to trade Joe and/or Cam/Kess there for that monster. He's redundant there right now and his value won't drop any lower. I strongly believe that Marks need to trade for him this year before he begins playing. Than he'll just remind everyone how good he is in a few.

Clax has been excellent. He's legitimately a deterrent at the rim now, and unlike plodding bigs he won't get played off the court in the playoffs. Clax on his contract is one of our best assets, right now if he can just do something about the free throws...

We do need a bigger body in the middle for some specific matchups but I think we can pick someone up off the scrapheap for it. Someone suggested Cousins the other day and I think it's worth a try. He's got a massive body, great rebounder and can hit a 3 occasionally.

I agree with everything said about clax, closing a playoff game simmons and Claxton are going to be close to unplayable together.

I'm just not sure what assests are available to get a big who can stretch the floor and is a big body inside. Cam Thomas?

I don't think there's a free agent C who fits that role
