Simmons leading the second unit looks so promising. Now Harris just needs to get his shot back.

Defense is not consistent at all. Some nights like tonight its good.

Other nights its terrible.

But at least its good sometimes. Under Nash it was NEVER good.

At one point, it looked like Portland controlled the tempo. Great turnaround; can they win tomorrow? We shall see

While Claxton took a while to get up you have to think how screwed we would be without him for a long stretch.

TJ Warren hasn't played in 2 years.

No idea why anyone would think he can help anytime soon.

A much needed win for this team. We need to be above .500 after this 7-game homestand.

Let me rephrase, like our other 3 players coming off injuries/surgery's. It is beneficial for TJ to come back now while the season is still young and he has plenty of time to get back to his old self. It may take a month or two or longer, but the sooner he gets back the better.

We have seen Ben make great strides and Seth looked terrific tonight and he should be able to build on that. Joe on the other hand is going to need time.

Not bad, but we have seen this already. They need to build chemistry and consistency. Effort level I'd day to day with this team. Not sure how JV going to motivate Kyrie and KD to show up every game.

Missed the game but good to see we got a win and kept them under 100, I won't get excited over this though until we can put a few wins together back to back.

Looking at the boxscore, Joe is still deep in his shooting slump, Yuta and TJ Warren can't come back quick enough.

Oh yeah, Joe needs to go to D. League and get some type of confidence and rhythm. It's clear as day it won't be happening with first team.

Seth had a good game. Let's see if his ankles ok and he can build from here. We needed him today and will need him big time moving forward, the spacing he provides allow us to expend things.

Ben needs to look to score more. He gets into paint at ease just to pass, Blazers adjusted to that here and there and it allowed them to cut leads. If he will score couple times it won't be an issue.

If they will show up, there is no reason not to win them all. Problem is, they don't come to play every game. Most of the time they feel entitled and get their ass spanked.

good win that we needed. We are playing very well as a team and we're getting nice open clean looks but we need to start making these shots, especially Joe Harris. I like that Richard Jefferson gave confidence to Joe and says he will be back, it takes a lil while to get back from an ankle injury. Seph is shooting great. I'm happy we found a way to start both Ben and Claxton and play well because I think that's our best starting lineup . Warren will soon be back to help out our bench and hopefully Yuta too. Need to see how this team looks at full strength.

We cleaned up the turnovers and helped out on rebounds which is our biggest problems. We clean up the turnovers and crash for the boards we should be good. We have the highest fg percentage in the NBA on offense and the best fg % on defense in the NBA which is surprising and encouraging. But what's been costing us games is turnovers and rebounds, but that is fixable.

The Nets need to send a message to the NBA, these refs are really really getting out of control with these ridiculous fouls and it's ruining the game. I swear they are out to get the Nets. That last Indiana game was horrendous and this game was following suit. Nurkic just pushes and throws his arms out everytime and somehow it's a foul on Nets. You can see KD and Claxton getting frustrated, and Claxton is not a guy that complains. Ben Simmons is playing great defense and they somehow try to get him for some tacky foul. It's getting so annoying watching these games. Meanwhile Kyrie gets hacked almost every play but goes to the line only twice a game SMH.

So we need to win tomorrow because we don't know what we'll get against the rest of the teams. We should be able to beat Wizards and Raptors and Hornets but we should of beat a few teams that we lost to.

Just watched the clips of Joe's shots today and yikes.

Old Joe would have gone 5/6 on those looks easily. Those are layups for him.

Joe Harris is reaching the end of the line in terms of good will he has built over the years.

He does hustle out there. But hes a liability on offense.

His shot NEVER goes in to the point where other teams leaver him wide open. And he has no other way of scoring. No driving game or mid range.

I think hes really hurting us at this point. I'd rather see guys like Duke Jr or Kess play.
