I felt that after the Boston series, teams right now found a way to contain KD. He's almost a walking turnover when approached by a double team at the top of the key.

JV should be able to device screens to free up KD, as Toronto's length is really giving him a hard time.

Leave the offensive scheming to Igor.

I’m glad JV is getting better results out of the team than Nash, but I still have my doubts lol.

I am cautiously optimistic right now

HOWEVER

KD needs a break

I have real doubts as to Simmons health for the next few months & we need him badly

Seth still isn't right & he's walking at the end of the season

TJ is a great fit but that was his first game in 2 years

Feels like we're walking a tightrope through a dark tunnel but there's some light

Cam needs to be traded. Tunnel vision, his 3 point shot is trash and his defense sucks. When he checked in coincided with Toronto clawing their way back into it.

He's not going to play when Yuta and Ben come back and the last time he got benched he sulked. I've seen enough.

KD should be playing 17 minutes per half. Vaughn has got to get a handle on this.

When we get Yuta and Ben back, with Warren that is enough depth to ensure that KD stays at 34 mins per game

I was mad about giving up the lead last night but there were a ton of positives.

First half was the best half we played all year. Really showcased what makes us dangerous. We were dominant on both ends. We had a ton of shooting on the floor. If we don't get destroyed on the boards, our defense is pretty damn good most of the time.

Joe Harris was great. I had no doubts that he'd get back to normal. I expect him to keep it up.

Can't believe how good TJ Warren right out the gate. Nice to have a big body wing off the bench that can defend and score. His defense was way better than I expected. Offensively, his passing looked rusty but everything else looked totally normal.

This was the first game I felt like Kyrie really bought into what Vaughn wanted. He was REALLY pushing the pace with that 2nd unit. He was moving the ball. Being aggressive. Running the offense. We won't be easy to beat if he plays like this.

What I really liked about this game and what we can and definitely should look into is:
• Both KD and Kyrie seemed to play within the game plan. They didn't stop ball movement and got everyone involved. Which allowed everyone get into rhythm and boost role players confidence.
• Kyrie, our main X FACTOR as a player. He understood when he had to take over and when to pass the ball. He had bunch of hockey ast that didn't show up on the box score. If he really going to buy into JV coaching, than we can definitely be scariest team out there.

Yeah i agree, last night was the first game where I felt Kyrie embraced his role. When KD goes to the bench he needs to attack and push the pace. When KD is on the floor, hit the corner and wait for the ball to move or cut and catch for a lay up.

Basketball doesn't have to be that complex when you have two good scorers surrounded by shooters. Run the offensive sets and pick your spots within the flow of the game.

Yep they made everyone around them better by letting them eat off of the gravity that they draw.

When Cam came into the game he f*cked up the team's momentum because the ball was sticking in his hands. We don't need someone who plays like that in the rotation

Cam basically has no value.

Hes had some good games and some bad ones.

I'm not ready to give up on him as a spark plug off the bench.

But he needs to stop taking dumb shots.

Kyrie is looking better and better. If he gets back to playing like he did at the start of the season it will take a huge load off KD.

Meanwhile Simmons is going to help a ton now that we know how to properly use him.

I still think we really need a backup Center though. Marks should sign one immediately.

Cam's got a less than ideal skillset and mindset for a role player, his value to us is actually highest when KD and Kyrie don't play.

As much as KD and Kyrie have taken him under their wing I think this roster isn't the right fit for him. He seems to know that better than anyone since he looks downright depressed out there. I'd seriously explore trading him for a physical, defensive wing buried on someone's bench somewhere, or a center that can give us a good solid 15-20 minutes.
